Lovley village pub ..new chef ..
Lovely Inn. Food was amazing from Neil. Am not a local but it was nice to popin for a bit to eat. And chatted to some local people. Chloe loved getting spoilt too

Proper local pub, simple but good menu, food typical pub grub, the new owner couldn’t do more for us
Beautiful Sunday roast lunch here. I had the Beef which came with, Parsnips, Carrots, peas, cabbage yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, new potatoes and a stuffing ball. You can tell the beef was cut straight a joint of beef and the grave was lovely and just the right consistency so it didn't drip off your food. Thoroughly enjoyable and great taste.
Been there for lunch a few times recently. As many places it's quiet at the moment but lovely staff and good food served.
The cod and chips was spot on and the lasagna and garlic bread another of our favourites.

It's a work in progress with new owners but it looks like they are making a good go of it.
I called in for a pint which was nice and I understand they do home cooked food at a reasonable price.
This could be an asset to the village.
Have eaten here twice now.
We have moved to the area recently.
Burgers both times. Both times the service was very good. Second time,we didn't book, they had a party arriving, they accomadated us with out hassle. We did know what we wanted beforehand.
Service is great and food even better.
We will be back.
Lovely food, friendly staff, great meat free options! We have really enjoyed coming here for dinner lately - thank you! Very lucky to have such a fab local
Lovely pub, lovely atmosphere, great music and staff very friendly. Going to have food there aswell. Xx
I had a really lovely meal here... I meant to take photos but only remembered when my plate was clear!
I had the Mediterranean tart for £9.50. The portions are very generous, it came with really nice chunky chips that tasted like they'd been doubly fried and a huge portion of fresh, crisp salad with a nice vinegrette based salad dressing. The tart itself had seeds in the pastry that I think must have been pretoasted? And really well seasoned veg on top. I'd order it again.
We had a salted caramel brownie for dessert, which again was delicious and moist and I would order again.
I think we may have been the only non-locals there this evening but we didn't feel out of place at all. The staff were really attentive and there was clearly excellent team work as drinks and things arrived almost as soon as we'd ordered them.
They have very strict covid requirements and we each needed to give our names, numbers and post codes, the hostess brought the clipboard to our table and filled in the information for us so we weren't stood waiting at the door and she made everything very easy.
It was my first visit but certainly won't be my last.
Lovely pub staffed by lovely people. A great welcome always. Food is great as is the selection of /lagers. Highly recomended
