Visited The Centurion while we were staying down in Casiter-On-Sea the food was so good we went back the second evening! Staff went above and beyond for our little ones the owner went out of her way to the wholesalers to get some ice-cream so they could have dessert when we visited the following evening. Food I couldn't fault at all, first evening we had Lasagne and a Mixed Grill which were both very tasty! Second evening we had Salmon and Half a rack of ribs which were equally as tasty!
Definitely recommend and we will 100% be back again.
Lovely and warm, nice quiet atmosphere and 2 lunches for £14: very good quality and large portions. Good choice of desserts for under £4: Free parking. And a huge choice of gins. We will come back.
Wow what a fantastic meal, you could feed a third world country. Great friendly staff. Love going here when I'm on holiday. Expect to see 👀me again.
Visited the centurion while staying at one of the local holiday parks, only went to the centurion after reading other reviews and can honestly say you wont be disappointed. Food was really good, Mixed grill and the sirloin steak big portions and value for money. Will definitely call again when holidaying in the area.
Went as a family of 7 for an evening meal and would highly recommend. Food was delicious and lots of it, portions are huge and well worth the very reasonable price. Fabulous service and lovely friendly bar staff 🥂🍻
Visited when stuck between Caister and Yarmouth due to buses not running after a car crash. Just what we needed, massive food portions, great value (£50 for family of 4 including alcoholic drinks!) and it was lovely fresh home made food 👌🏼 served by bar and kitchen staff who couldn't do enough to make our visit any more pleasurable. Thank you 👏🏼
On holiday came across this place which was really nice. Layout very good big place. Food was unbelievable portions we're huge and excellent value for money. Bar staff very friendly. Fully recommended
Had family lunch here, large portions for adults, tasty food, kids sized portions, separate areas for dining, although there is a bar in the dining room there is a separate bar with sports TV shown. I would recommend
Was sceptical about going here as it didn't look the most welcoming of places but I was so wrong!!
Was given a lovely warm welcome and whilst the selection of beers wasn't as wide as some pubs I've been in, there was still enough of a range to find something decent.
The food is the best thing about this place though. I had the mixed grill and the wait was long enough to prove that it was freshly cooked. The portions were absolutely massive and it tasted superb.
This pub is a perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. If you find yourself in Caister then you should definitely pop in

Didn't have food but from what I saw being bought out looks value for money. Pity I can't say the same for the drinks. Living in the Great Yarmouth /Caister area feel that the drinks are very over priced. There is a large car park. Toilets clean. Beer garden.
11 of us went in for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic as was the service. There was not not one complaint about the food, in fact everyone of the party was complementary. Very highly recommended.

I and my friends went to this restaurant to have lunch after being in another place before which we did not like.
The attention of the waiters who served the food during the lunch was great, polite and friendly people at all times. The meals were fantastic, very good taste and the presentation of the dishes was excellent. The place looked very clean (even the toilets!) and the aspect of the place is very good in general. All my friends and I coincided that we had a very good time there and food was really good, so we will repeat as soon as we can again without a doubt.
By the way, the place has got a car park for free with plenty of space what is really good.
Friendly local pub that serves nice food. Had the hunters chicken which was a very good portion size and the chicken was very succulent. Will definitely eat there again when we visit the area next
Extremely warm friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent portion sizes and fantastic food. Great value for money. Highly recommend. It's a shame we discovered this place on our last night. First night at holiday resort in their restaurant food was awful, over priced and not much choice at all. Wish we had come here instead. We will certainly be returning next time we are around here.
