Spent the afternoon at the Buck today for a friends baby shower. Fab place! The room was filled with pretty bunting and the table was laid with beautiful China. Afternoon tea was so delicious with seriously scrumptious sandwiches and cakes! Super friendly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back for more! Thank you Ali xxx
Went for Sunday lunch today and it was amazing, both meals were stunning, the beef was so tender, the gravy rich and delicious with lots of fresh vegetables, dauphinois potatoes as well as roasties and a Yorkshire pud, all piping hot. The mint pea risotto was so creamy and light with a delicate hint of mint. The desserts are to die for, all homemade, the lemon posset is out of this world as was the Terry's chocolate orange cheesecake all beautifully presented...highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed just arrive hungry as the portions are plentiful. Staff are friendly and service is efficient. Well done Jon, Ali and the team.
Had a smashing meal last night. Despite the pub being really packed, the restaurant was comfortable, cosy and welcoming. Great food and even better service. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again. Those chips were awesome!! Steaks cooked to perfection and mouth watering desserts.

I had a joint suprise baby shower here last week, we had afternoon tea with plenty of savory and sweet little nibbles on the tables, was all very tasty and looked amazing. All staff were polite, and kept checking we had everything, and was lovely to have the log burner going in the tea room too! Defnetly recommend, will be coming again soon �
Jon, Ali & team we had such a delicious Sunday roast today ..the beef just melted in the mouth and Jonathan said the pork was top notch � and it says it all when your child who is a fussy eater cleans her plate! Syrup sponge and custard did not disappoint either � thanks again all we will be back very soon xx
We had a wonderful afternoon tea today. It was the best we have had so far. There was a good choice of dainty sandwiches with prawn vol au vonts and sausage rolls and a selection of tiny cakes including jam and cream scones. There was also a choice of coffees or tea and a lovely warm atmosphere.
Best Sunday dinner I’ve had in a long time,huge portions,meat was lovely and tender and a great variety of veg,friendly service and reasonable prices,will definitely be eating here again
We have previously had Sunday lunch which was excellent. We went for lunch and was not disappointed. We had a beautifully presented ham salad and desert. Lovely atmosphere, great service and friendly staff.

Lovely impromptu supper after chocolate pouring at coco pzazz. Didn't want big meals so just had starters with side orders of yummy handcooked chips which was the perfect amount of food. Will definitely be going back with hubby to try out the steak & wine deal.

Very varied menu : afternoon tea, sandwiches, panini's etc at lunchtime with a varied selection of home made cakes and desserts made my Ali who is an excellent cook.. Delicious food on an evening and Sunday lunch but check this out: Friday night is Steak night... absolute great price of £29.95 for 2 people which also includes a bottle of house wine!!! Amazing deal for two people to start the weekend off very nicely!! Never had a bad meal here, always extremely good portion sizes served, food is of excellent quality and always made to order. Staff really welcoming and friendly and really very pleasant and always making sure that everything is to your liking. I would definitely recommend The Buck for a meal at any time of day, but please..... don't just take my word for it, go along and try for yourself and support a Very nice friendly public house/restaurant & Tearooms!!! Fabulous place!!
First time iv visted hear. Booked to have Sunday lunch, the food was good, plenty on the plate and freindly staff. Some desserts where not available as they had been busy with Christmas party's. Plenty of space in the rooms, it was a bit quite there as I think there is strong completion with three pubs in the village. Have recommend to others and might visit again if in the area.
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, best stilton sauce ever.
Chips and onion rings homemade, excellent.

Beautiful sunday lunch..only one problem the card machine was not working and we werem't told until the bill came which was a bit surprising! Not good especially if you have no cash on you would have been good to be told when we arrived.
Great little country pub with friendly staff and a wide range of draft and bottled drinks. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
Just had lunch after arriving near by in our caravan. Lovely food, made feel very welcome by the staff, food was lovely. Dog friendly
