Came across this fish shop and oh my goodness it's amazing!!! The fish was so fresh and the chips cooked to perfection... the staff were lovely... it's a shame we don't live closer!!

Fish lovely, we felt the large portion of chips was a little small. We think keep the sizes the same and put the price up.
We were staying locally and decided to treat ourselves.
We were served by a delightful young lady and had Haddock, Chips and Mushy peas. The fish was fresh and the batter crisp, the chips were crunchy and the peas were lovely. A scrumptious meal! And well priced.

Right, I love this chippy. Closest one to my house at about 3 miles away. Ordinarily a 5 star rating would suggest nothing really wrong with it. And to all intents and purposes there isn't. The quality is pretty much spot with a minimal degree of variation. The portion sizes often depend on time, queue, and even who is serving, this does make it an interesting choice to when I go. One week a large chips was the same size as regular, but it was still really good. The menu is small and very well organised. Would I like better options for the lactose intolerant? Definitely, because pretty much its a sausage, as the batter has milk in. The fish, mini fish and fish bites are really really good. The chips are literally on the edge of cooked/undercooked which when you travel home with them has them about right temp and quality to eat. Compared with what I was told when I moved here, I can definitely say I'm glad I chose to frequent this place. The younger owner definitely has his favourites and locals and can sometimes forget those who are semi regular and new to the Caersws fish bar experience but as a former chip shop chap I totally get how that happens. I will definitely still go in once a week or fortnight depending on work etc as it's only open 3 days a week currently. And if you are in the area Thursday to Saturday, give it a go, you shouldn't be disappointed at all.
The food is great except the fish is often running with oil. I have to dab it with a paper towel before eating it.

We was staying for the week in Llandinam and noticed the fish bar driving past. We ordered for 7 people and everyone of us was over the moon with our food it was the best fish and chips we have had for a long time and such amazing service to match the amazing food! Highly recommend this gem of a plaice 🤣

Hit and miss with quality of cooked fish and chips but overall good.
I agree with others it was cooked to order and so perfectly fresh and really tasty large queue so be prepared to wait but there's a queue for a reason, plus large portion too well worth it

This was the first thing we ate when we arrived on holiday and now it’s all I want to eat for the rest of the week. Perfectly crispy batter, incredible chips and served by a super friendly and helpful team. It was pitched to us by the hosts of our Airbnb as the best fish and chips in the world and they weren’t exaggerating. Superb!
Real, proper chippy! Just had fish and chips here....real chippy chips 😃 fish was excellent and the guy who owns it is great, his wonderful assistant taught me how to say Caersws...kerzeus 😂 at least I think it's that. Definitely go for tea here 😋
Great chip shop which I visit regularly. I can honestly say its the best chippy I have visited, and I've been to quite a few. The food is cooked to perfection and very tasty, I would recommend there homemade Curry The prices are very reasonable the staff are friendly and welcoming also I believe the food they serve is from sustainable suppliers . I would highly recommend a visit.
Whole family stopped on way home from our caravan. Food cooked fresh. Cannot complain about it being slow.. fresh is absolutely best. Really enjoyed the food. Will definitely go again!!

Really good fresh food. Friendly staff and the fish is beautiful. The chips are really nice. Not sure how they make then that nice but overall this is a clean friendly family run business and a Fab chippy!
