Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Cosy atmosphere. Good choice of reasonably priced main meals which were great quality. Starters and desserts a bit pricier than other pubs in the area but a very enjoyable visit and we will definitely return
Called in on a Friday lunchtime and the pub was surprisingly quite full.Four of us sat down for lunch and ordered different but the meals came together in a very short space of time.Service and food were both excellent.
Lovely local pub with very nice and tasty food at reasonable prices. Visited for lunch and very much enjoyed the Caribbean Chicken. The staff is very polite and friendly. I will definitely be coming back.
We called in here last min after seeing my dad in nursing home. Fair play they fitted us in for Sunday lunch food is stunning so much of it. Best cooked lunch we had for a long time. Staff lovely and friendly we would definitely go back.
The landlord is really nice. Our group just turned up minutes after afternoon closing but he still made a cup of coffee for us. There were also a couple of ladies waiting for a taxi, he was very patient. Thank you.
Lovely quiet meal with my wife. A great feeling of being in a local friendly run pub. Great selection of traditional pub meals with value for money sized portions. Make sure to get a portion of chips - delicious!
Lovely place, but there is a smell when you walk past the men's toilets. I could even smell it when I was sat in the lounge every time the door opened to the men's toilets. Sort it out and it will be perfect!!
Went for lunch, exceeded all expectations. The chef is to be congratulated. Thank you.
Booked in advance for 8 of Us to have lunch. The menu had plenty to choose from and a Specials board. All the meals we exactly as described and all were very well presented ,looked extremely appetising and tasted as good. We choose home cooked desserts which were huge and did not disappoint in flavo

I visited on a Friday night and the landlord said it's free finger foods every Friday. It has a great selection of finger foods. Pizza slices was stunning. The landlord was very friendly. Definitely pop over again, well impressed.
Great atmosphere and a proper pub. Kids are permitted but dont be offended if you are asked to leave by a certain time. Perfect hosts.
Booked here last night 14th Oct for a 70th birthday dinner for 12. What a great place from the minute we phoned to book they were so helpful. They let us pre order food for the night. On the night the staff were so friendly nice selection of drinks and most importantly the food was served together
Great food and menu choice, staff very friendly and there was a lovely warm atmosphere with entertainment, definitely going back.
Traditional pub with lovely staff and attentive service. The food is a little rustic in presentation, we had Thai fishcakes which were very well flavoured with a nice texture and soup with freshly baked bread. Mains large and well cooked steaks with piping hot chips. Dessert a slight let down but po
