Friendly service and excellent food. Great provisions for social distancing and the safety of staff and customers. Is say the best chips in Caerphilly by far. Highly recommended.

Good fish and chips, along with two curry choices, once hotter than the other. Perfect if you want to sit in the park behind or plan a wander around Caerphilly Castle.
This chip shop is by far the best in Caerphilly but unfortunately it is also one of the slowest. They close at 9 o'clock. A couple of times I've been over about 8.15 and told they only have what's left and won't cook anything else. Also, I have tried to phone in orders on 3 seperate occasions so as to not wait but no answer on the phone. Such a shame as its lovely
Brilliant chips, nice and brown and crispy - not white and greasy . Doesn't cause a bloated tum either like some do. Lovely staff, Highly recommend. xx
Having recently moved down from Cardiff it’s been hard to find a chippy that could match up to my previous local, but castle fish bar are even better! Every time I’ve been the foods been excellent, chips are always crispy on the outside and lovely and fluffy in the middle. You can tell they take care with everything from the chips to the homemade chicken curry (personal favourite). Service can be slow at peak times as food is cooked fresh from what I understand but it’s well worth the wait as no chippy I’ve had in Caerphilly really matches up!
This is, without doubt the premier fish bar in the Caerphilly area. Fish well cooked, batter crisp and generous chips all very reasonably priced. The added bonus is the welcome and humour of the staff, especially Sadie.
1st visit in many years and not disappointed. Great selection of food on the menu. They also have a specials board. I went for the chilli and chips special. Lovely chilli, chips crunchy and soft.warm welcome from Very friendly staff.
Will definitely be using again and highly recommend.

Freshly cooked and tasty, waiting time acceptable for quality - top value for top quality food. Fish fresh hot and crispy. Chips very good. Varied products and pleasant staff. Well worth trying - recommend.
Now the top chippy in caerphilly! Beautifully fresh cooked fish and chips with a good menu and specials. You are told and given a choice of where your fish is sourced. Spotlessly clean and super friendly staff makes this our favourite chippy in caerphilly.
I completely forgot to make a comment about this fantastic chipy hidden away and didn't really know of, as I don't go down this road very often. But I must say i really enjoyed my fish and chips and a jumbo sausage for my dog hahaha I recommend this place and the lady behind the counter was lovely too.
Had a fantastic visit here yesterday with my family. The chippy was a recommendation from the people from the castle and was totally worth the 10 minute walk.

Best chippy in caerphilly. Chips are brilliant, batter on the sausage and fish is amazing, good daily variety of curry sauce. Portions are good as well and all reasonably priced.
