This chip shop is by far the best in Caerphilly but unfortunately it is also one of the slowest. They close at 9 o'clock. A couple of times I've been over about 8.15 and told they only have what's left and won't cook anything else. Also, I have tried to phone in orders on 3 seperate occasions so as

This is, without doubt the premier fish bar in the Caerphilly area. Fish well cooked, batter crisp and generous chips all very reasonably priced. The added bonus is the welcome and humour of the staff, especially Sadie.
1st visit in many years and not disappointed. Great selection of food on the menu. They also have a specials board. I went for the chilli and chips special. Lovely chilli, chips crunchy and soft.warm welcome from Very friendly staff.

I completely forgot to make a comment about this fantastic chipy hidden away and didn't really know of, as I don't go down this road very often. Had a fantastic visit here yesterday with my family. The chippy was a recommendation from the people from the castle and was totally worth the 10 minute walk.

Best chippy in caerphilly. Chips are brilliant, batter on the sausage and fish is amazing, good daily variety of curry sauce. Portions are good as well and all reasonably priced.
