Never disappointed with this place. Roast dinners are so popular and there's a reason for that - absolutely delicious. Service friendly and efficient, excellent value for money. Would recommend.
Decent home cooked food. Never had a bad meal. Best Sunday dinner I’ve had and I’ve had a few! Service can be a bit slow sometimes (due to busyness) but always pleasant staff.
Walked in with no reservation, fully booked inside but made some room for us outside. Their hot chips are the best.
We stopped here halfway through a long walk for lunch. Really nice place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were great and the majority of the food was very good. Would recommend the goats cheese starter and fish cake starter, my wife had a jacket potato for main which she enjoyed.

Excellent service by the whole team, but especially by our waitress (Billie). She couldn’t do enough for us and was extremely helpful. The food was fantastic, good quality, well priced and good portion sizes.

Nestled amonst gorgeous ancient woodland, this pub is a bit of a gem. Certainly could do with getting more local beers in (the closest was Cornwall!) but the garden was a welcome stop off route on our hiking journey! Staff were especially friendly and helpful. Went on Easter Sunday. The meal I chose was roast beef dinner and I was not disappointed.
My mother has dementia and eats quite little, they have a child portion on an adult plate so she wouldn't notice. Lovely staff.
Great country pub with outstanding food. The staff were amazing and very friendly. I definitely recommend the Caprese Burger, it comes with the most delicious homemade pesto.
