Went for a meal with family. A lovely friendly pub. The meal was beautiful, made to perfection at a great price. A first class service. Will be visiting again
Food was absolutely lovely, staff were amazing and was a very pleasant experience for myself and my girlfriend. Will definately be back.
Great that the Angel have decided to open back up for outdoor dining and have lots of seating available.
The new app ordering is a welcoming new touch however may be difficult for some to navigate. Might be better to have the QR codes on the tables rather than having to go through Facebook.
The cons

Our party had a range of food from the menu and to be fair it was all lovely. The staff are very attentive and there was a good atmosphere there. Will definitely be returning. One of our diners had am allergy, the chef rang us to discuss. I found them to be very attentive and thorough.
All three courses of the Sunday lunch were lovely. The staff were very friendly, polite and knowledgeable on menu queries. Look forward to returning:)

Great food, surprisingly quiet. Good beer, good value considering the amount of chicken. Triple cooked chips like I've never seen before.

Had a lovely lunch here today. The food was very well cooked, plentiful and good value. Server's were very pleasant and attentive. I would definitely recommend and I will return.

What a lovely place, the staff were friendly and the decor is very nice. A great improvement on what the Angel used to be like. Everywhere was clean, even the toilets, and the place just felt like you wanted to be there.
The food was good, the steak was a little over done for my taste and the chips
