Such a worthy winner of Wales Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year. The 7 course tasting menu is truly exceptional. The dry aged Sirloin with Kale & Snowdon Valley Mushrooms was a particular stand out course, so too the line caught Sea Bass and Crab. A big thank you to Paul Hearn and his team for all their hard work in providing a wonderful evening 👍🏻

Great experience, wonderful staff, amazing food! It was the two of us that had the seven course tasting menu. One of them was the pescatarian menu, it was all very very delicious, beautifully presented, the wine pairings were amazing. 1000000% recommend it.

Was our 7th visit to this restaurant, and again, it was not disappointed. Great food, and we really enjoyed the wine pairing!

Although the food was and staff were excellent, our last course was a pudding which contained coffee liquor. We stipulated that we were non alcohol drinkers when booking, so we were unable to eat the final course and feel that an alcohol free alternative should have been made available. A suggestion of a non alcohol pairing instead of just wine pairing to the food might be a good idea too.

The food was AMAZING! Unfortunately we had a couple on the next table, I think father and daughter, and she was extremely loud and quarrelling. Not the fault of the establishment. The staff were nice and I will definitely be going back.

We ate here recently to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and all of the staff made it a very special evening. We were greeted on arrival and congratulated on our anniversary before being led downstairs to the dining area where we were introduced to our host for the evening who was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a 7 course taster menu with wine pairing and were blown away by the quality of the food and wine. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

What an amazing experience. Unforgettable evening. Food was delicious. I was trying to choose my favourite dish but first plate was fantastic and every other one was just better than a previous. Amazon service from Rupert and fantastic dishes from Chef an a team. If you are in North Wales you have to book a table here. Highly recommend a place. Will definitely come back

Stunning birthday meal with my wife. Amazing 10 course taster menu. Every course is immaculately presented, colourful and packed full of surprising flavours. Thoughtful wine pairings and exceptional service. Can’t recommend this enough.

Firstly, If you enjoy tastes and flavours and finding intriguing culinary combinations then this place is for you. Kitchen on the first floor so was greeted by Paul and the team as we entered and then gently ushered down to the dining area by Rupert. Made to feel very welcome and the dining room seat a maximum of 19 so you know already it's not mass catering to push through covers. Drinks, like the menu itself, thoughtfully local with the obvious exception of the wine. Good selection of everything. Rupert gives that wonderfully balanced amount of fuss and discreetness so that we felt entirely looked after without someone hovering over you as you eat and chat. Kudos also to Seren (I hope that was right) on her first full shift, very diligently listing the ingredients for and generally being lovely. Have I told you how good the food is yet? No? Well let me tell you it's fabulous start to finish. As you expect from a tasting menu each course is presented as smaller plates but heaped with interesting and perfectly cooked dishes. I hope that when you visit you get to experience the beef course we did as it was simply melt in the mouth and full of different combinations. Really that seems to be Paul's watch word with his cooking. Unlike some other tasting restaurants which focus on Dalian-esque presentation or some gimmicky cooking style (I don't need great tasting food presented on a cushion of porcupine smoke supported by replicas of the Elgin marbles carved out of sunflower seeds) the focus is deftly combining different tastes to create very subtle but flavoursome dishes. Trying to pick out the various ingredients became all part of the night and very rewarding to pick out the subtler ones. Lastly the boring bit, for two people with drinks our bill came to less than £130 which in my mind is actually a bargain for the for the food presented. I've eaten at other restaurants where the starting price per person for a tasting menu is that amount and the food not even half as good. Was left feeling pleasantly full not grossly full and whilst I might have said I could have eaten it all again that's very much wishful thinking (and I'm not a small eater!). So if you are even vaguely near Caernafon (it's 300 miles from my front door sadly) and want to eat really excellent food in a relaxed setting then you won't beat Sheeps and Leeks. Bravo Paul and co!

What an amazing experience. We had the 10 course, menu. This took from 6.45 to around 10.00, felt a little rushed towards the end. Each course was exquisite in both flavour, content and presentation. Each course individually presented to each table. There were pre starters, starters, fish, main a cheese course and dessert courses. The restaurant has seating for 20 which was cosy and you had enough space from the other tables. The serving on staff had to be exceptional knowledgeable about each dish, and were. This is an occasion meal and can easily recommend this to others. I would certainly try and book if I was coming back to caernarfon in the future.

So, I have to be honest I have always been happy with a Steak and seeing there was none on the taster menu made me wonder if I would enjoy this. Well, it is truly fantastic. Taste explosions. Waiting staff / chefs all friendly and explained what we were served. Wine pairing great. I am telling everyone about this place, I only hope when we return there will be space. If Google would let me it would be seven stars out of five. Fantastic quality experience.

Truly wonderful experience doing the 10 course tasting menu. Wine pairing was well worth including and carefully curated to enhance the dining experience. We had a enjoyable experience that we'd be more than happy to repeat anytime we are in the area again!

Absolutely delicious. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was great. Really innovative, tasty cooking. The beef pre starter, cured salmon starter and lamb main were outstanding

When the cutlery and the glassware sparkle back at you, it make you think you are in for something good and oh boy was it better than good. This was the best taster menu we have had in a long time and probably in the top 2. Loved the way the trainees came down and talked about the food. I highly recommend a visit but not on the days we are going back please. It's a shame the star rating only goes to 5.

Amazing experience, brilliantly looked after by Rupert who talked us through every dish and accompanying wine. Every mouthful was exquisite. The 7 course taster menu was the only option but it works really well.
