I've been going to this pub for over 45 years on and off, great atmosphere, staff and users. Haven't ate there for many years unless you count crisps, so I can't comment on the food other than it "looks" good and plentiful. Always a family first for us when we fancy a cheeky pint or two. Lovely light lunch for 4 adults. It was spotlessly clean, served quickly, lovely and quiet, comfortable and very well priced for drink and food. Will definitely go again and recommend for lunch or casual evening meal.

Great pub with some decent views over the river. Nice to have a few drinks and bite to eat on a sunny afternoon. Even live music on a Friday afternoon if that's your thing.

I chose this place because I was looking for a dog friendly pub that did a roast beef sandwich. St Julian obliged and had lovely views over the river and plenty of seats on the balcony and on the grass. Staff very attentive and pleasant.
Had food here today big portion size and very reasonable price will definitely be back.

Popped in for a delicious lasagne. Very friendly staff. Sat on veranda overlooking river, which even though tide was out, was very serene. Very good price for drinks and food. When we go back to Wales we will defintely be popping in again

Had my mums wake here, the staff were polite, efficient and very helpful. The buffet was excellent. It was varied, fresh and great value for the money. Thank-you for making a difficult day better. Would definitely recommend it.
