First visit and will definitely be returning. Went as a family and the kids enjoyed their food which was a bonus as it meant we were able to relax more and enjoy our meal. The portions were very big and we we were left full and satisfied. I'd like to visit again and try the Sunday roast next time. S

Not impressed by the food.
Overcooked, possibly recooked, oily frozen chips. Home cooked ham had a strange vinegary taste and very grey appearance. Steak pie pastry underdone.

Good place to have food. Meals are big. We couldn't finish our plates. Lamb shank was very good but unfortunately beef burger was veery dry. Meat was over done. Other than that everything was fine.

Yes well established and extremely friendly pub which is presently very festively decorated. Customers look very happy. The land lady has many party bookings up to Christmas. The menu looked very enticing indeed although my visit was only intended for a quick drink. I think I would highly rec
