Our first visit to The Cadeleigh Arms for a Wedding Anniversary meal. As they are so dog friendly, we also took along our pooch, Tripp. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and made to feel extremely welcome. A fantastic menu and the quality of the food was terrific, with most ingredients sourced locally. Also they have a great wine list and an extensive list of guns and other drinks. Tripp loved his liver and veg supper The staff and owners deserve high praise. It is the best pub we have visited for a long, long time and will definitely be back there soon

We were staying about 1 mile from rhis village pub. On our last stay we booked for an evening meal & I mentioned we had a 17wk old puppy as well. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owner & what a joy it was. A lovely window table with a lovely comfy thick bed for puppy as well. Menu's & wine list (even a doggie menu) ❤️on table & a few dog treats!!!!! The food was absolutely delicious & very well presented. Wish we lived nearer to this establishment as it was amazing. Well done to all staff & what a pleasure it was to dine at yours. X

We visited The Cadeleigh Arms with my son and his partner having received good reviews about their vegan food. We live in Exmouth so it was quite a journey to get there but we'll worth it. We couldn't fault the food or the service and will definitely visit again.

My best dining experience of the year (and we've been to some good places!). Griddled mackerel with Jerusalem artichoke shavings to start. It was wonderfully fresh and tasty. Pan fried bass with a fennel and pastis puree was utterly delicious I finished with an autumn fruit cheesecake with pistachio. All three dishes were lick-the-plate-clean good, the beer and cider were well kept, and there was a great selection of wine and soft drinks. The service was attentive, friendly and not overbearing. The Cadeleigh is a great pub/restaurant and well worth a visit.

As of July 2023, our local pub currently serves drinks and snacks on Friday and Saturday nights only, but it’s brilliant and almost back on track. Lots of cosy places to sit - love it!

Such a lovely beautiful gem of a pub. Service is 1st class made to feel very welcome. Nice little touches such as water and popcorn. Food is lovely, had the lamb burger and it was the best I've had in a long time. Sat in beautiful garden very peaceful. Will visit again soon and will be recommending to others 😁👏👌

We have our Christmas party here, as well as a regular meeting venue for a networking group we belong to. The food is locally sourced produce, served fresh and to order. A beautiful independent eatery in Mid Devon, well worth a visit!
