Lamborghini Manchester visit 30/09/2017.
Just wanted to say how impressed we all were on Saturday. Not just with place which is outstanding but the food which was on another planet. Everyone said it was some of the best food they had tasted in a long while.
Even when we were leaving and it was raining very heavily the staff were out with Umbrellas completely unprompted.
I must say I expected it to be good but you well and truly surpassed our expectations.
Please pass on our genuine thanks and compliments.
It was well worth the hour and half drive.
Best Regards Dave.
Called in at short notice on a Sunday lunchtime and was fortunate that they could squeeze me in.
I say fortunate because it was the best roast beef lunch I have had in living memory. The meat was succulent but nicely pink, beautifully textured but pulled apart so easily. The vegetable offerings were really tasty and generous.
I should have been satisfied with just one course but having seen some desserts went for the treacle tart. It was another triumph.
Have eaten here in the past, everything from a sandwich for brunch to an a la carte style dinner and find it impossible to fault the food, drinks or service.
Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely food.
I don't think I've ever had to wait
So long for my main though 1hour and 20mins we had to wait but, yes it was worth it.

The wife and I just had a fantastic evening and meal. Attentive but far from irritating staff, wonderful food and wine and price. Highly recommend.
A great pub. Went for a prearranged lunch with 4 ex work colleagues. Our preference is usually to go for the pie option. Not disappointed, great steak pie ( good filling, texture, flavour and a good all round crust). The staff were exactly what you would want, prompt, smiley and knowledgeable.
Can highly recommend this place, this was our second visit inside a year and confirm that we will be back.
Oh... And all agreed that the starters were also very good too.
Absolutely incredible Sunday lunch today, the battered pigs in blankets are an absolute game changer.
Pork belly on point, beef cooked to perfection. Veg and colly cheese was delicious and not to leave out the Yorkshires are amazing.
We will definitely be coming back for Sunday lunch again.
You have a great team who do an amazing job
Thank you
We stopped by for a Sunday roast as we were passing through.
They got us in last minute and the food was incredible.
Service was great, the place is lovely and cosy.
We are big eaters but were stuffed after finishing - it’s a good portion!
They had a good offer of £30 for 2.
Fantastic Sunday lunch. Roast beef, roast turkey and a side order of cauliflower cheese. With great assortment of fresh vegetables and extra gravy
This pub is sooooo good
It is a little hidden gem
The food is outstanding
The beers are lovely
The staff are super friendly
Call in for some food or to simple enjoy a beer in their lovely beer garden
Whatever it may be you won't be disappointed
I hadn’t been for more than 30 years and by good fortune was passing by. What a lucky decision to stop and refind this great place. Made very welcome by the team. The food was excellent, as was the restaurant. We’ll now be adding this to our regular haunts.
Had a Sunday dinner, food was lovely, service a little slow but lovely staff.
Would recommend.
Popped in after a dark evening run for a very nicely salted and vinegar scattered chip butty, half a pint of Ginger Pale and a bottle of water. Service was great, the butty was fantastic!
A very nice quaint pub 🍻 with a couple of warren's off the main bar, with plenty of seating and tables.
I'm already planning a revisit with the family for a Sunday lunch! More photos/review update to come in the near future!
Thanks for hosting us ❤️🤩🍻🚀
Celebrated my mums 80th at the Cadeby in on Thursday night. Would highly recommend to anyone to visit the Cadeby Inn set in the lovely little village. The pub and dining area and surroundings are modern and chic which contrast well with this old style village pub and restaurant. The service from start to finish was fantastic. As for the menu and food, well just amazing. 🤩 Will be returning shortly!
This is somewhere we have been on many occasions and enjoyed the food and ambience.
This is the first time we have been since the pandemic and unfortunately it is not what it used to be.
The staff are still lovely, attentive and helpful. The location is beautiful with a lovely atmosphere and the cleanliness is to a super high standard. Sadly some of the food is not what it was and could do with a little attention to detail ..... maybe a relish with the burger and a sauce with the chicken and a little less overcooked. Saying that the pie was amazing.
I would go again but a little attention to the menu would enhance the whole experience.
Enjoyed a really great traditional Sunday roast. Good quality and value. Service in particular from our waitress (Rosie) was friendly and very helpful. Thanks, Paul & Val…we’ll be back
I booked a table for family to celebrate my sisters birthday (10/11/22) the food was beautiful and the servers are friendly and professional. We love the decor of each room, its a lovely place to go. Highly recommended
Had a meal here on the way back to Oxfordshire from Whitby and it was a lovely place to stop for some food. The owner was doing the front of house and the serving and he was doing a brilliant job of it. He was so friendly and made us feel really welcome.
The interior decor was really well thought out and unique from the front door to the toilets.
The food was absolutely amazing and everyone else’s on the other tables looked great as well, especially the steak. Have favourited to come back sometime!
Just eaten Sunday Lunch here, it was very....very good! I had the Beef and my wife the Pork. The Sticky Toffee pudding and custard for desert was the perfect finish to a traditional Sunday Roast. Hats off to the Chef. The building itself is stunning with several different areas to eat in. There is a great selection of hand pulled ales or draught premium largers to suit any palette.
We will be visiting again very soon and I would recommend these to anyone.
We could not fault our evening at The Cadeby Inn (01/09/2022 ). It was a last minute booking as the restaurant I’d originally booked texted ( late in the day ) to say that, as there was only one other table booked for Thursday they were shutting the restaurant. Not everyone sees texts - I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t ring to cancel. Felt a bit like a cop-out.
Anyway it was such a great night at The Cadeby Inn that I soon forgot the other place. We had the Cadeby Sharing Charcuterie as a starter? which was enormous - but oh, so delicious. Warmed artisan bread, lots of interesting cut meats, 2 cheeses ( Yorkshire Blue & Bavarian Smoked - we asked ! ), gherkins, salad, sun-dried tomatoes etc.
I had to make a conscious effort to not eat all of my half as I’d ordered the steak and ale pie & mash !
In fact we both did and the pies didn’t disappoint. Lovely crisp pastry, LOTS of big chunks of steak and a delicious ale gravy. Really hot too. 10 out of 10.
The ambience was first class too. Music was “our” era ( not too loud not too quiet). And we both found the quirky decor amusing.
We had a young blonde waitress, who couldn’t do enough for us. She took our photo using my iPhone, as it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary.
The Cadeby had not been our first choice for such an important celebration, but it will definitely be next time. Thanks to all of the front of house staff and to the team in the kitchen.
Called in whilst walking and were quickly and easily accomodated for Sunday Lunch. All the staff were pleasant and friendly and the food was lovely. We felt welcomed and looked after and will be back. Thank you 😊
Excellent value for money and experience.
Based on their Christmas service/courses.
We had a baby shower here today, everything was perfect 🥰 Pedro is the ultimate professional, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you, can not compare to any other place
We decided to have a walk for Sunday lunch with the dogs who are welcome in the bar area and we opted to have 2 mains for £30.00 as we didn’t want a pudding or starter. I had the beef sirloin and my husband had the beef brisket, both very tasty and tender, good selection of vegetables, think they could have been a little more as I only got 2 small rounds of carrot, the Yorkshire pudding was massive and the extra gravy was nice. Service and staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed it and would return and recommend
