Really nice, small, local farm shop in the national park. I bought some venison steaks, which were reared on site! You could see the deer on the farm too, which was a wonderful touch. I would recommend stopping here for your local food supplies when camping!

They cooked venison sausages for our baps and had a lovely outdoor seating area to eat them in. Decent priced venison mince too from the well stocked deli. Pity there's no toilet but otherwise a great place!

Lovely breakfast rolls this morning . Sat outside watching their deer. Bumped into the owner too and he was lovely. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a huge toasted teacake with a cup of milky coffee, in a delightfully quirky setting, served by very friendly staff and all at a great price. I recommend you call in if you're on the road between Abergavenny and Brecon for a very pleasant rest stop and to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Gorgeous little farm shop tucked away and easily missed. Was visiting the area and popped in for a bite to eat. Their sausage rolls are superb. Also purchased a Venison tenderloin and some venison sausage. Sausage was good, but the tenderloin was outstanding done on the BBQ and treated like a beef fillet. We will be back!

The meat is top notch & a reasonable price for the quality. Unfortunately they no longer do full breakfasts. The baps are nice, proper sausages, fresh farm eggs & quality bacon. To the owners; please replace the chairs in the hut area. They are knackered & falling apart. Apart from that it was lovely.

WOW! Walked in here on a whim while hiking around brecon. Lovely little shop. Got helped by a nice young man at the butchers counter, was very knowledgeable ( even gave us some great hiking directions ) got some lovely haunch steaks, and some thick cut treacle bacon. Cooked them this evening and holy heck - THEY WERE STUNNING. Not gamey at all, beautifully fresh and so tender and tasty. Medium rare and stunning. I wish I was closer to shop more frequently but they do next day delivery, so I think my Christmas dinner this year may be venison!

Lovely bacon and egg roll with great tasting black coffee. While I was there bought some venison joints and steaks, home cooked them, they where delicious 😋. I live quite local, so it's great to use local produce. Farm set in beautiful surroundings. Great outdoor seating area with a wood burner when cold.

Excellent venison cuts but some of the products are a tad expensive. We guess this is only to be expected. Some specialist local cheeses which are top class and quite different to the usual supermarket fare. If you are looking for something local and different, well worth checking out.
