We stayed here for 4 nights with a 3 and under one year-old in mid-August.
Great facilities, with a new shower and toilet block. It was ace that it included a family room with bath, our little ones loved it and that made bed time easier for them.
Well stocked shop, fresh tasty ice-creams and milk was a lovely bonus.
Not too busy and despite heavy rain our pitch never got water logged.
Would recommend.
Superb location for cycling the High Peak and Tissington trails. Site was busy, loos really clean too. Icing on the cake was fresh milk available from a pump on the farm and also amazing ice-cream made right on site.
Fantastic place, superb facilities, delicious ice cream at the shop, milk vending machine, fully serviced pitch to name but a few of the plus points. Excellent value for money. I have recommended to several friends already, will definitely return. Very relaxing place to pitch up at. Super weekend away.
Brilliant little campsite to go to. We went for two nights and had the whole tent field to ourselves! The ladies at the desk were super friendly and helpful and the facilities are amazing. We had such an amazing time and are definitely looking to come back.
Good location, nice site. This is our second visit, although the first was some years back. Facilities are nice and well maintained. Easy access to the High Peak cycle and walking route.
The only minor thing is that the showers take a bit of getting used to, took a while to get hot water through, and when it did trying to balance, the temperature was a bit awkward.
Would not stop we going back again though.
We enjoy bringing our young family here. The ice cream is amazing and very good value. The kids love running around on the grass and being able to meet the pigs, goats and giant rabbits.
Fantastic campsite just outside Buxton and perfectly placed to explore the peak district (you can walk onto the high peak trail from the site!)
We spent a brilliant 4 nights camped here over the last weekend in August in their non-electric seasonal field.
Facilities were excellent and kept in a great clean state by staff. On site vending machine supplies fresh milk which is seriously delicious (kids loved the milkshake station next to it!), and they also make their own ice cream with a rotating selection of flavours - crunchy donut was ridiculously tasty!
Friendly staff in the shop and reasonably priced for the pitch we used, the site also hires out firepits and has pygmy goats to say hello to!
We will definitely be using this site again, the only possible improvement we could suggest is a cut through from the end of the seasonal field to the shop/showers as it was a bit of a walk!
Absolutely lovely, friendly shop, very clean, facilities amazing, animals well kept and looked after. We had a lovely stay will definitely return.

Wonderful campsite. Clean facilities, handy shop, yummy ice-cream and milk machine. Pizza van on site is a good idea. So nice to see the cows and beautiful landscapes with multiple walk and bike routes on the doorstep. We will be back!
