Gradbach Mill was an amazing place to stay. I stayed with extended family (10 people) for 3 nights and apart from the wasps at this time of year (end of September), I don't have anything negative to say about the place. The views. Oh the views. Such an easy and peaceful walk. Very easy to navigate. Spent a lot of time there. Magical.
A fantastic place to visit. I loved going through the Chasm, which was made from a landslip.
It's full of mystery and awe, a must see for everyone.
The mill and cottage is comfy and friendly. Room spacious, decent. Breakfast and limited food i evening. Great place to get out walking in beautiful countryside. Go along river or turn up to the roaches or luds church. Bout equidistant to Buxton or leek. Pubs about 50mins walk or easy drive.

Parking is free, with walks leading in all directions, around 2 to 3 miles from three shires head
Absolutely beautiful location. Accommodation was lovely and clean, and warm (November). Staff were lovely. Food was lovely, catered really well for my strange requests, gluten and chilli free. The first place to make a really decent curry without Chilli.
Good conversation of an original mill, breakfast was good but if you are a late riser my not be for you. Drivers should take care entering and leaving the property.
A fantastic 2 night break, beautiful location, amazing breakfast, continental and cooked breakfast.
Ordered the pizza on the Saturday night with chips and spicy wings, caught out by how much food we got, highly recommend ordering, well presented and piping hot.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
