Nice café on the Monsal trail old railway line in an old station. Very handy for walkers and cyclists. The usual hot and cold food and drinks and ice cream with tables inside and out. Good prices but a bit of an odd system for ordering, paying and waiting. Not very customer focused.
Stopped here briefly to get cake and coffee while traveling along the old railway line. A nice spot where lots of people seemed to stop and do some climbing. There was a queue but it was quickly processed, seems the sausage rolls were popular as they were sold out before lunch!
Best scotch egg on planet earth... Cakes and coffee were nice too . VEGAN sausage roll was cracking!
Summary - great cafe on the Monsall Trail with a good selection of food and snacks.
We were cycling the trail and this cafe is quite close to the end so the kids decided that I needed to buy them ice cream. This seems liked a good place to stop with lots of bike parking, toilets and plenty of outdo
Stopped for coffee and sasuage roll, cake as in Lemon short bread. Lovely.
Great little cafe catering for walkers and cyclists, directly on the Monsal Trail. Basic but good food. Adjacent to toilets and information boards. Paid for car parking.
Stopped here on a wet and windy day in February 2020. Warm welcome from the staff as we entered even though we looked sodden and had our muddy dog with us. Food was excellent quality, good value and served promptly. The old station rooms look recently decorated and are full of interest. Really glad
Nice cafe in an old station building on the Monsal trail
Great café. Just what you need on a day out walking. We had ham and cheese Panini and cheesy chips.
Great food. Not the cheapest, but quality and presentation made up for it.
Nice snack/warm drink options on the trail. Staff nice and friendly.
Cafe at Miller's Dale station on the Monsal Trail. Hot and cold drinks. Cake and hot sausage rolls etc. to take out. Larger menu if you eat in. Lots of seats on the benches and tables on the platforms. Seating indoors as well.
Had my son's birthday party after abseiling off Millers Dale bridge. The staff were amazing, accommodating and let us do his cake and candles and my sister left a balloon with them to put with the table for 6. Nothing was too much trouble, food was fab. Thank you everyone for making it easy for us w
Called in this morning for coffee and cake before we went on our walk. Asked for advice on walking routes from a dark haired petite lady with glasses. She was very knowledgeable of the local area and on her advice we walked to the Cheedale stepping stones before coming back to the refreshments room
Fantastic cheesey chips, loads of cheese and chips are well cooked.Coffee was good and prices are reasonable.
Lovely cafe at the start/end of a walk. Limited cake/savoury selection but still very good options.
Small cafe with limited selection and quite expensive. Fascinating old railway station along the Monsal Trail, with other routes into the Dales too. Nice to sit on the old platform, see the old lime kilns and look over the edge of the bridge.
