Cafe is nice, so is staff. Wifi limited to just 30 minutes seems like a very outdated idea, faulty electric sockets don't help either.

Quite nice, clean, staff very helpful, usual Costa standards, and a nice latte, relatively new place, moved from middle of high street to bottom of high street.

Dec '17 Normal Costa Coffee shop. The thing is with Costa you always know what you getting & Buxton is no exception. Pros: Clean Warm Good coffee Selection of other drinks. Selection of nice comfort food. Cons: Expensive Busy Queues No guarantee of a table or even seat once you've queued for ages & eventually got your drink. To echo a comment already made, whilst Costa is Costa & you know what you are getting, in such a lovely area there are plenty of far nicer local independent coffee shops available.

Take heed Startbucks. Costa makes a delicious tea and a hot chocolate. My tea came with a milk jug and teapot not just a mug with 2 pathetic tea bags and a pint of milk that made my Starbucks tea virtually cold!!!

I've been a regular Costa customer for years. And love nothibg more than one of their loevly coffee's and cakes. Would have been a 5 star for the Buxton branch, however - having recently been diagnosed with IBS, I now need to avoid cow's milk. I have found it very difficult to buy my coffee's from this branch since my diagnosis, as they often don't have the Lactose Free option that they advertise in store. And today they didn't have it again, OR the Soya milk option. I don't like almond milk, or coconut. And so I left empty handed and disappointed. I have not had any problems at any other branches of Costa. Hope this branch, which is my nearest, sorts this regular problem out, or I won't be able to go there anymore.
