The Pavilion Gardens - Buxton - Photo album

Absolutely beautiful gardens. Features galore. Always something happening; art displays, band music etc. If you go to Buxton don't miss this feast for the senses. Free entry. Wheelchair friendly. Plenty of seating around the grounds. We visited both at the weekend and during the week at various time
On 30th September me and my fella got married, it was meant to be on the Bandstand, it was moved into the Conservatory due to the weather being poor, but it was just as wonderful and as magical as I could have hoped for. Thank you to all the staff that helped make our day special, especially Leah!
Beautiful Park, plenty of place to sit and enjoy the views. A lovely historic building with a conservatory holding a variety of plants. There are tea rooms inside. Plenty of space for children to run around and enjoy the play park away from the main buildings.
A nice play park not just for kids but to kids-at-heart. The duck lake is mesmerizing too. Finding a parking spot is a struglle though.
Great place to visit. Lovely park and right in the centre of Buxton with some great shops and eating places nearby.
Wonderful to see these gardens being maintained to a standard their creators would be proud of. Early autumn, no flowers left, but fantastic leaf colours
What a beautiful park. The people of Buxton are so lucky to have this facility. There is a large play area for children, a boating lake and plenty of paths to walk along.
Had a great day at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. Took our 2 and half year old grandson so he could ride his push-a-long bike. Lovely, safe, wide promenade for him to ride around. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, walking by the river and the really great children's play area. Also had cake
Stunning place in a beautiful little town. Nicely kept gardens, fun activities and some great ice cream.
Really nice, quite small but it has a cafe in it. Just a short walk to the main street and the crescent of houses.
Beautiful gardens in the centre of Buxton. Worth visiting all year round.
Lovely pretty gardens. Very popular. Could easily spend a lot of time here. We visited on a sunny afternoon mid-weekday during the Easter holidays. A band was playing and it felt quite busy in the Pavilion area - people buying ice-cream or coffee and cake, and quieter pockets as we were walking ar
Had a really lovely time, the sun was shining, everything was very clean and there was no litter, close to some lovely pubs too
One of the main attractions in Buxton the large gardens contain lots of attractions. Extensive children's play area, pedalo boats, sports centre with gym, swimming pools etc, exhibition hall , tea rooms , arts and crafts and beers from local brewery. Plenty of wide paths and guest house, hotels etc
Beautiful building, the conservatory plants are very well maintained. Nice cafe. Great views of the park.
Overall a lovely place to visit. They offer a GF bread option and the coffee is great. There is a children's playpen, which although good for families, I prefer a quieter atmosphere. There are other seats further away.
Very pleasant public park within easy walking distance from the centre of Buxton. With the various walkways the river and the lake you can easily spend a couple of hours here, in peace and quiet, away from the traffic.
What a relaxing place to sit & have a beer on a hot summer's day. Things to look at i.e. artwork etc., plenty of seating outside if nones available indoors. Just watch the world go by 👌
The Pavilion Gardens is a beautiful building, very spacious inside! Outside is the large Pavilion Gardens's park, which is very popular for dog walking, feeding the ducks and friends meet up. We went to the Antique Fair on Saturday 28th January in the morning (it was open from 9.00am-4.30pm and cont
