Clean kitchen (you’re in it when you collect !) and very friendly staff.
Food was pretty good too - certainly above average (we eat a LOT of Indian/Bangladeshi food), and the portions are very generous.
Naan breads were the stand-out here - very nice.

Visiting Buxton for the weekend and picked up one of the ´set meal’ takeaways on Friday evening. Absolutely outstanding ! So much food - we got two meals out of it. Everything was delicious and will definitely be back next time we’re there. Recommended - you will not be disappointed ! 💕

We ordered Tandoori Chicken, which was really good, tasty and really well cooked.
Customer service was excellent, when we told them that we prefer spicy, they made it as per our request. They were very friendly too.
While we were waiting, we saw lots of people come to pick up their food and the owner/manager always greeted them in a very friendly manner. A very pleasant place.
Would definitely recommend anyone wanting to try Tandoori and kebab food.

What I really like about this place, is that you can watch all the food get cooked! The food is very fresh and is very cheap. Normally a starter, main and naan doesn't surpass £16. The portions are brilliant as well.
The biriyani is very nice as well as the Balti Exotica.
This spot is a hidden gem in Buxton, the owner is really nice & down to earth, the biryani seasoning was delicious with tender lamb, chicken tandoori was fresh & cooked to perfection, also fresh nan bread.😋

We asked them to do the catering for our wedding after using them for many years as a takeaway. I cannot recommend them more highly! The manager asked me afterwards how they could have improved, and the simple answer was they couldn't! The whole arrangements from our first call to the delivery of the food was 100% fantastic! Everyone said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! It was absolutely perfect and the attitude of all the team was so professional, and they so wanted to make our day special. We had a full vegetarian menu and even the children who we catered pizza for ended up eating the curries and side dishes. We had 110 guests and there was loads spare and tastes just as good after freezing. It was the best choice we could of made for our wedding party and can't thank them enough for doing the catering!
My favourite local curry! The only reasons I've knocked off a star is because there's no delivery and it's cash only. The food is phenomenal though and worth the drive to pick it up. By far my favourite local takeaway.
One of a few halal places in Buxton, good luck finding others. Did not disappoint, ordered mainly grill food and it was all to a good standard. They do a variety from grill to curries and also chips, nuggets and variety of rice which was good for the kids. No complaints. Reasonably priced also. Keep it up guys.

Our first visit to the Buxton Tandoori as we have only moved into the area today but we will definitely be using the place again, excellent service and great food. Take away only, no delivery or restaurant, but definitely give it a go.
