Visited The Pudding Emporium as I thought it a cute and quirky idea for a business. And I wanted to try the Buxton Pudding. Which didn't disappoint. I had the homemade vegetable soup with bread and butter. Hubby enjoyed a cheese toastie with veg crisps and side salad. Both meals were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered my Buxton Pudding which arrived with its custard. Absolutely delicious. So good hubby ordered one and he isn't a pudding man. Lovely shop with all manner of foods and gift items. Lovely little place to visit. Highly recommend.

Popped in for an ice-cream with my daughter. She was very pleased with her tub of chocolate ice-cream and I couldn't resist sampling the Buxton pudding with some delicious custard. It would be nice if fresh iced coffee was available in the warm weather as the tinned ones have too much sugar. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We sat outside which was a lovely setting. Recommend a visit!

Terrific deli and cafe just across from the opera house. We enjoyed our lunch in the cafe. And were able to take some delicious things home. Including the lovely Buxton pudding

It wasn't busy when we called, staff were friendly. We decided not to sit in the restaurant as we had tired little ones! But we bought Buxton Pudding and a large tub of custard to take away. It was delicious! The shop is worth stopping at, some lovely treats to take away!

A real hidden gem, and well worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we stumbled in looking for a cuppa and some shelter from the rain. The Buxton pudding was a delight (whether with warm or cold custard!) and the hot chocolate was wonderfully rich. The extensive selection of local, quality produce was worth a browse too! Would very much recommend.

Secluded cafe and shop opposite the Buxton Opera House. We visited after a recommendation from the Buxton Visitor Centre. The menu features fresh local produce, and features the original Buxton Pudding. Currently table service only due to coronavirus; the waiting staff are friendly and efficient. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

I have been going here for some time now and find it very welcoming . The staff are always so very polite , the food has always been very good and well presented . I have tried most things and find all that I have had to have been well prepared and in a timely manner . And the produce on sale in the shop is very good also. It is to be recommended to go for yourself to see. Take care , John (the green wizard).

A well hidden and classy establishment offering quality fayre. The staff are friendly and attentive. Of particular delight was the cheese and ham croissant which was very generously filled. It's also the place to go for the traditional Buxton pudding if that floats your boat!

This is one of my favourite shops in which to buy treats, in this instance the excellent Hartington Creamery King's Blue cheese.

Most amazing jams ever! I buy them and get them delivered as I live in Dorset. The Tarty Blackcurrant is the best jam I've ever had, 😋
