Hargreaves Cafe - Buxton - Photo album

Traditional tea rooms popular with mature ladies. Wide selection of sandwiches, oatcakes and jacket potatoes. Coffee is pretty average as you'd expect in a tea room
Traditional English tea room with an extensive menu, prompt service and a pleasant decor. Their sandwiches are good with plenty of fresh ingredients. No table service but the counter staff are pretty quick dealing with the flow of orders which are then delivered to you at your table.
As we both enjoyed lovely homemade cake and a cold drink went back next day and had toasted sandwiches which were very nice. Staff friendly and most helpful when checking ingredients due to an allergy. Situated above a lovely kitchenware shop.
My son and I treated ourselves to afternoon tea. The tearoom is upstairs above the delightful shop selling home goods, kitchenware and fancy goods. The tearoom has an antique feel to it with a couple of huge glass display cabinets with antique tableware, dishes and even an old style cash register. T
This is a nice little cafe above a gift shop of the same name, all the cakes are baked in house and you get a good portion at a reasonable price, a decent menu is available too for breakfastor lunch. It's worth a visit.
Had afternoon tea with friends. Sorry but no pictures. It was all lovely and I would definitely recommend it and good value for money. Lovely setting.
Lovely breakfast to start the day off!! Customer service was really nice and staff were very friendly in the tea room
Good food. Great vibe and service! If poasible, a little more variety in vegetarian food would be amazing.
Whilst visiting Buxton on a cold afternoon we wanted to find a nice little tea room and what a place we found. We were looking in the window to see if there were any room for my wife and our little dog. We couldn't see any free tables so walked on. A lovely lady rushed out having seen us looking in
An amazing tea room above a most delightful Cookshop/Giftshop. A variety of teas/coffees are available and the menu caters for all dietary requirements including complicated intolerances 👌 This is a family business steeped in history with excellent displays of memorabilia of a bygone age. Well worth
Lovely place. Food was all freshly made, tasty and reasonably priced. Looking forward to going back to try out the cakes that looked amazing. Love the displays with all the history. Something different.
Food was delicious, staff were friendly and proficient. Lots of history on show about the family who have been proprietors of the business since 1800s. The cafe is still run by the family, and the great, great grandson of the original proprietor was serving in the cafe today
I love this cafe. It has perfect decor, oak panelled with a mini history of the shop and ceramics. Lovely good food. A treasure to be preserved. ❤️
Never eaten a bad meal in this cafe, everything on the menu is good. Stairs from ground floor shop to cafe will not suit all visitors.
