Truly excellent steak, the best I've had in a long time. Fast friendly service. Reasonable price considering cost of living rise, withe the best steak meal and a drink for around £13. Highly recommend the cookie dough desert for taste but the desert price was far too expensive for the portion size.
Nice pub with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. No parking, but there is parking just off the roundabout down the road - walk up to the zebra crossings to get across as the road is very busy & parking is free after 6pm. Food was good, garlic bread was very crisp... a bit too much so for us, but

It's a Wetherspoons, but at the time of our visit it wasn't too busy. Despite it being their autumn beer festival? But there were plenty of cask beers on offer, which for me was perfect. All of which i tasted were in good condition. We ordered food off their "small bites" menu and that too was fault

I’m usually not a fan of spoons, as while the beer and food is great value for money, the clientele does not always make the place welcoming and cleanliness can be optional in some venues.
The Wye Bridge House was an exception to this in my opinion and it ne of the rare places where I could find a
Typical Weathersoons. Nice outdoor space. But next to a very, very busy road. We had to walk some distance to find a way to cross the road.
And not quite sure it was the Mocha drink that didn't agree with me,I but I won't be trying it again.

Very good Spoons in a lovely town. Brekkie and a brew went down a treat. Cask Marque certificate available to scan. Couldn’t fault it other than being a standard spoons inside. Good though. Happy.
This is the best weatherspoons I've been in. Never had to wait for a drink, as soon as a table was empty the staff cleared it and wiped it down. Had a meal and a drink and was brilliant. the service was quick even though it was busy.lovely decor inside and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's worth a visit if you're in the area. There is also a park next door with swings for the kids to play in.
Pub was very busy, but the food was served quickly and efficiently. It was a noisy atmosphere but friendly (it was a Friday evening to be fair). Food quality ranged from okay to very good. Nothing amazing but for the price you can't complain. However the Mediterranean salad my wife ordered with
I have been visiting this Wetherspoons pub several times a year for the last few years and honestly have never had a bad experience. Food and service is always good, and staff are very friendly. Recommended.
Lovely location, right next to a park and Buxton city centre. It was a nice go-to for a cheap meal (good value for your money) on a day out in Buxton. This weatherspoon's was the fastest service I have ever had. We barely had to wait.
