Excellent culinary experience! The veal main and poached pear dessert were mouthwatering. Great friendly service too. Would recommend.
Beautiful food! Service was excellent, and we were all made to feel very welcome.
After a day out in nearby Bakewell and Derby, we came back to Buxton to try another restaurant for dinner. We didn't make any table bookings in advance, but was lucky that there were some tables available for non-reservations at the time (on Friday, 27th Jan at 6.30pm). We were greeted and seated pr
Can't rate highly enough. Called in on a rainy Tuesday evening with a wet dog and without a reservation. Even though the restaurant was busy the owner was warm and welcoming and found us a table immediately. Food was lovely as was the atmosphere. Definitely recommend šŸ‘Œ
My 1st visit but a lovely place to dine. The waitress was good at her job & dealt well with a very busy lunchtime. Food was delicious. Would definitely go back.
We both had lovely meals and the staff we friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. While heartedly recommend if you're in the area
Five of us had an early evening meal here tonight. We chose from a menu of 2 or 3 courses especially for theatre goers. The service was excellent. Our young waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious. Starters of French onion soup and garlic mushrooms, main courses of beef bourginion, chick
Great food and drinks in a fabulous French atmosphere. We sat next to two mannequins, that were quite interesting! All in all, an enjoyable experience.
What a fantastic find - the food was excellent in quality and value, very authentic French brasserie fayre. But the service was unexpectedly great - the maitre dā€™ found us a table when they were very busy and his attentiveness and charm, together with the efficient and friendly service from the wait
Food was lovely and served in just the right amount of time. Staff were helpful & friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.
Thw food was so tasty, it was really fresh and I recommend the crepe de merguez! The staff were friendly and what was lovely was that they were really accommodating of us having 3 dogs with us. They sat us on a larger table so we had a good amount of space for them and even offered them a biscuit. C
A lovely French restaurant. Prices are a little on the high side and the acoustics in the restaurant are slightly noisy. The presentation of the main course dishes need attention to reflect the prices charged. The presentation was a bit underwhelming and a bit pub grub style.
As always the food was amazing. I had fish pie which is so tasty, good bottle of wine recommended by the owner .... Argentinian malbec. Really busy place but staff still very attentive.
