We were driving back from Alton towers when we came across this lovely looking pub. We were delighted to be able to get a table, and had an absolutely wonderful meal. The staff were all lovely and the food was top notch (please excuse my odd bunless burger!) to boot! All in all it was a great place

Can really recommend this pub, visited as a family of 10 for my parents Golden Wedding, we had a small room to ourselves. The food was fantastic with a great choice on the menu. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Cant believe we haven't visited before.
What a lovely team. The service was really personal. Such polite and helpful staff. It was a very relaxing experience. The food was good. We chose the Carvery which did include a free dessert but we opted for the normal dessert menu. I will definitely return.

This place is so special and different. Service was great and food was excellent. The portion are huge and I was forcing myself to finish the food, because it was too good. Great options of drinks (hot and cold) and desserts. It's such a lovely ride to get there, why not stop?
Lovely place near Buxton, decor is wonderful something really different. Had Sunday dinner here with my family, the food was great and very good value. I'm a little in love with the home made cheese cake and will definitely be back to try more!
