Sometimes you find a place to eat and as you sit there you can't help wondering why every cafe can't be this good, This is one of those places. As a long-term Vegan you get used to accepting less than inspiring meal choices when trying to eat away from home. The Cafe The Green Pavilion well and truly bucks that trend by offering incredibly interesting, varied and wonderfully prepared choices. 5 stars doesn't come close to how highly I recommend this place. Stunning in every respect.

Visited yesterday and had the vegan burger which was absolutely delicious. The salad that came with it was substantial and super tasty with lots of interesting flavours. Friendly service, chilled, cosy vibe and great food . Well worth a visit!

Such yummy food! My carb/meat loving husband was very enthusiastic about the salad that came with his sausage roll - something I never thought i'd hear! My only regret is that I didn't have a slice of cake to finish off my lunch. I will do next time though.

Cafe Green Pavilion catered for our 40th wedding anniversary party this weekend. They provided a superb buffet, complete with retro dressed salmon, lemon meringue pie, Manchester tart and a delicious trifle, among other things. Thank you all so much. Dianne

Visited the Cafe at Green Pavilion Green in Buxton while on a Sunday dog walk, and it was lovely. We sat outside and the weather was still nice and ordered oatcakes for breakfast. Very nice, very nice tea too. Staff were lovely and service was good not taking too long even though they were very busy. Great value too. Would definitely visit again soon and maybe try lunch this time. Highly recommended cafe in Buxton.

Visited for lunch today for first time. We both had pot roast chicken, home made gravy, and potato wedges. It was excellent and value for money.

Lovely staff, very welcoming. We had a bacon and cheese bagel, coffees, and a hot chocolate. A tad disappointed with bagel, the cheese just grated and sat on top of 3 strips of bacon. Not melted or toasted. Bacon well cooked. It was fine. Hot Chocolate with trimmings was delicious. Coffee was ok but served at scolding point for oat milk. One comment would be to wipe the sauce bottles as they were covered in dried on ketchup and really unpleasant to use. Great range of toys to keep little ones entertained

Great little place, we had 2 toasties that were hands down the best we’d ever had. Plus a little selection of different salads - the grated celeriac salad was lovely. Good service and great tea served in a mug, like tea should be - highly recommend!

A big advantage is the cappuccino on oat milk, which they cook incredible. They also have a delicious kombucha. A large selection of dishes with vegetables and salads. Everything is fresh and delicious.

You guys your Vegan Breakfast is amazing! I eat out a lot at various cafés and restaurants and most vegan menus are terrible, especially Vegan sausages. Your menu surpasses them all. Compliments to the chef! Ps: by the way, I rarely leave reviews for restaurants/cafe, but I was that impressed I had to leave one 😘

Absolutely fantastic, the cafe is lovely very welcoming environment, the food was absolutely beautiful. The chef was very good. I was thrilled with the sandwiches we ordered the table next to us had full English and it looked equally as tasty! The music they had playing was 80s very upbeat but played quietly so it wasn't overpowering. Staff where attentive and we were thrilled with the overall experience.

My husband and I visited this cafe as part of our family holiday to the Peak District. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere with really friendly staff. There were toys/books available for our baby daughter to play with which she really enjoyed. We'd definitely recommend the white chocolate cheesecake and hot chocolate :-)
