Had a lovely lunch here today. Very friendly staff, great with my one year old son. I enjoyed my burger, other relatives had gammon and fish and chips which also looked good and they enjoyed their food.
Stopped in for lunch mid-week whilst exploring locally on a mid-week break. Lovely old pub with quite a varied menu and a specials board, which we ordered from. Food was freshly made and tasty. Staff were really friendly. Service was good. Great little pub in a very lovely part of the world!
Fantastic olde world pub. Very friendly and attentive barman. Food was delicious. Excellent choice of food catering for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Good choice of beers and spirits. I would highly recommend.
Booked here for dinner on Saturday evening. Was very warm..nice atmosphere..good food.. Only dowside was sticky tables!
Great traditional pub to recover after walking around the nearby hills. Sunday food looked and smelled great (we were there after 3pm). If we’d walked further we might have treated ourselves.
Lovely friendly hotel on good location. Staff were really helpful and accommodating at last minute short notice change we had to make and made what could have been something stressful really easy. The breakfast was plentiful, the accommodation clean and comfortable. Didn’t have evening meal there bu

After visiting a local bookshop we found this nice little pub and stopped in for lunch. We both had sandwiches/toasties and they were very nice and well priced. Good value drinks, ample spaces to sit outside. Would visit again
Stopped here on our impromptu "pub crawl" of the village. Only had a couple of drinks so cannot comment on the food. Staff were nice and friendly. Large selection of beers, nice proper pub.
We didn't stay there, just popped in for a meal. Food lovely, staff friendly. Clean and welcoming.
Decided to go here for lunch - was not disappointed. Best pub food I have had in a long time . Steak burger was cooked perfectly, hand cut chips cooked in a delicious way ( wish I had asked ). The side salad was super and larger than standard salads you would normally get at other places . Theo ou

Cheery staff and really delicious lunch. I had steak and ale pie and chips. The pie was top notch and the chips were probably the best I've tasted in years! Actual proper freshly hand cooked. Terrific. Def going to go back.
