What an outstanding afternoon tea, we hired the drawing room for a private function and the food was delicious!! Presentation of the food and different cups and saucers was great, would highly recommend going here for a private function or just in general. Cant wait to go back, the brownies are to die for!!!
A lovely, relaxing place to get some breakfast. The homemade bread was delicious, would 100% visit again. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

I've been here a few times recently after they opened for take away only during lockdown. The food was so good that I've been back again now they have opened properly. The food is very good, honest, and tasty. I've had their home made sausage rolls a few times with salad, their toasties, fruit scones with cream and home made brownies of different varieties. All very good and I will be back for more. The owner is very hospitable and keen for you to enjoy your visit. A real hidden gem.
Came across this lovely place online when looking for somewhere for coffee & cake in the area. It is gorgeous and cosy with a real homely feel. I had a hot chocolate (delicious) and my boyfriend had the gluten free chocolate cake / torte (SO good). Will definitely come back to try the savoury food and homemade bread. Had a nice chat with the owner who was really friendly.
Sensational service, quality coffee, delicious fresh homemade food and cakes. The interior is stylishly decorated with a warm ambience whilst the courtyard seating is a sun trap and it’s lovely to admire the historic buildings and large eucalyptus tree
Excellent take away coffee and chocolate brownie, perfect cycling fuel! Looking forward to bringing the family back when things open up again.
We visited the Drawing room today for the first time and were very impressed. A very warm welcome was followed up by a wonderful home baked cream tea. I requested a cafetière of coffee, which was excellent. The Drawing room is in a lovely setting and I would imagine when warmer weather arrives sitting outside would be a real treat. I will certainly visit again to try some of the home made soups and homemade cakes. A real find !
Your cafe leapt out at us as I was planning a journey south from Wells on Google Maps. What a find! It was lovely. It was quite busy and as we entered we were immediately included in the general conversations that were going on. So refreshing!. Our coffee and cakes were delicious! Really well done with what you have achieved. You really deserve the success that you have made of the place. We'll be back, and really looking forward to it!
