The Giant’s barn cafe, as the name suggests the restaurant very close to Giant’s causeway. Most of the day tour buses from Dublin or Belfast will stop here for the lunch. Food was good but bit pricey. Although the staff is super efficient in handling the crowd and you will get food served quickly. T
I liked it very much. It's a family run business. I went in without expectations and got more than what we generally get. And by we, I mean Indian vegetarians, i.e. vegetarians who eat plant based food and not eggs. I got tortilla wrap with tomato, cucumber, rocket and cheese along with tomato-basil
Really good special of the day which was chilli nachos. Make sure to ask ingredients for each dish if you have allergies. Nachos tasted fresh and the chillin itself was stellar.
Family-run business where all the tour buses stop at on their way to Giant's Causeway. The food here is quite delicious and they are effective at serving the food quickly. Recommend trying one of their stews or soups, especially on a cold day.
Food here was not the best Irish food I've had but when you haven't eaten for a while it certainly hit the spot. The seafood chowder was very treat but besides a small shrimp I didn't find a lot of seafood in it. The soda bread was very good. I also got a dessert I first thought was a strawberry sho
It's true that this place is pricey, and your tour bus will stop here. It's about the only place to eat at the causeway. However they are super efficient at moving people through quickly and the food was quite delicious. The smoked salmon sandwich and sweet potato soup, highly recommend. Clean restr
Adorable coffeeshop with great offerings... the Bailey's Hot Chocolate was delish. They have a great variety of magnets, artwork, postcards, and other souvenirs as well. The friendly staff didn't mind chatting with us Americans about all of our inane questions (bees!) Huge variety of CRISPS all in o
Lovely lunch of roast beef, lovely Irish stew choice of six main courses and also deserts. Very friendly staff and helpful if your lost and looking for the best places to visit just ask. would recommend to all good price to and nice atmosphere at the Giants Barn.
We went on a Sunday around 1pm….very quiet, wasn’t sure if opening up or closing up!!!! But friendly staff & got a lovely cup of coffee
Great place for a meal. Really quick service despite multiple buses arriving within a short time. Big serving sizes. Good honest home cooked style meals. Really delicious and good value for money. The staff were just such lovely people and so quick in clearing any dishes left at tables. Highly recom
Visited on coach tour ,great menu but were limited choices due to place being busy before our arrival. Staff were lovely
genuine home cooked Irish stew, fabulous service .... including my silly question "what ice cream do you have ?" for they were displayed in front of me 🤣🤣
thank you again ... great lunch
Loved everything about the meals we had here - wholesome, fresh, real good foods! Great staff! Close the the Causeway!
Unlike the other review talking about it being a tourist rip-off, this was a great stop. Clean bathrooms, and good value-for-money food. I wasn't even able to eat all of mine and it was DELICIOUS despite the fact I had been throwing up every chance I got from motion sickness. The prices are actually
It's a small restaurant on the way to Causeway bay. The food is nice and options are decent. I loved to see that there are good vegetarian options available. Enjoyed the food and drinks in the vast landscape.
