The atmosphere was really great, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. It's a great place for families and they are dog friendly in the beer garden. I would definitely recommend it and we will be going there again.

First visit for us and a first visit to a pub for our dog Lulu. We and she were made very welcome and she quickly settled under our table having eaten her saucer of dog biccies, generously provided by the King Stag. We really enjoyed our delicious Sunday lunch and my chocolate brownie with ice cream and salted caramel sauce was superb. The pub is lovely and the staff are very welcoming. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning very soon.

I have never had a bad meal here. Love it. And love how they welcome me and my dog. They have good drinks, and great food. I only wish they weren't fully booked all the time and had slightly longer kitchen opening hours as I've been a few times at the "wrong time" for food. Not a criticism, just wish it was available for me when I want it!! Keep up the good work guys. X

This is a great pub and restaurant in Bushey just round the corner from us. Great beers, my favourite is Camden Hells but they have a great selection of Real Ales and Ciders. The food is very good, I can recommend the burger. We often have a chat to co-owner David who is passionate about The King Stag. We even saw Rob at their anniversary party who is also a nice guy. Well worth a visit.

Booked a table yesterday for myself, son and friend. We all had the roast dinner which was lovely and the dessert were especially good. The staff were brilliant with my son and made a fuss of him. It was a nice change that the staff were relaxed around children which you wouldn't necessarily receive at other pubs/restaurants. Over all we had a great afternoon

Great traditional local pub. Popular & with great outdoor facility for BBQ & Music in summer. Inside (in the winter) there is a roaring fireplace & a number of niches to sit together with friends with some privacy. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Their menu has daily specials & is broad enough to appeal to all. The food is Excellent - decent size portions, local ingredients & very tasty. Good value & worth going to specially

A true gem of a pub! Haven't come across many staff better than the ones that I encountered on the 10/10/23. They were polite, attentive and professional whilst being friendly. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the food all looked amazing. I was grateful that they served coffee late, unlike so many pubs that simply can't be bothered in the evenings. I would happily return to this pub!

Nice little place. Its on a one way system so be prepared to do the rounds if you don't find anything first time. Staff are lovely and very hospitable. Smells a bit doggy but then they do allow dogs so what do you expect??!! Food was good. I had the steak on a Wednesday which was reasonably priced £18. The chips are frickin awesome 👌.

Nice food, and friendly easygoing service. Good gin tonic and good choice of beers. Food is a little carbohydrate rich, and my partridge was overcooked so rather chewy and dry, but the micro herbs on it were a delicious touch. The sausages were nice and the sauce with them was great. I her the sticky toffee pudding is good here but going for the crumble. Good choice ... absolutely delicious, highlight of the meal

Nice pub with kind staff. So far, we only stopped for a quick refreshment (just drinks), but we are looking forward to having lunch or dinner. On a weekday, we found easy parking there. Inside, the main room is quite welcoming, and they have a also a nice garden. The alcohol-free beer is the best of the County. See you soon, guys.

Great little gem of a place we were recommended. The food was fantastic. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, covered in sauce and tasted delicious we inhaled them so quick because they were so just so good. My son had the Stack burger with skinny fries and loved it. I had the chicken burger which was delicious and we both had peppercorn sauce on the side which was delicious. We love going out for pub food and this was the nicest pub grub we have ever had. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Amazing and we will be back.

Stylish / cosy residential pub. Very Good selection of beers. Tried their own bitter which was light / sweet. Stopped for lunch which was decent. Had a welcoming Xmas feel. Lucky locals!

A friendly , welcoming pub with good quality food and drinks. It's always busy without being hectic. Sunday Roast portions are very generous but the fish dishes are more modest. However the creamed spinach side dish is amazing!

Great selection of gins & mixers with a delicious pub grub menu to soak up all that alcohol. The pub is family friendly & dog friendly. Would definitely recommend, and revisit. Only minus is that the quality drinks come at London prices.

The cooking and beer is very good, the menu seldom changes. The menu is still the same but the cooking is getting better. So pleased that the menu has changed and that they are doing specials. Sunday roast was very good. Busy and buzzing. Still a good pub. The kitchen has put some really great selections on the specials menu such a great idea, well done.

Went for lunch on Good Friday with some friends. The service was friendly and the food was very good; it was a great environment. I know it's very popular and it's easy to see why.

First visit here, & have to say, I had a thoroughly good time! I had the salmon starter which was really tasty, followed by the roast beef with chunky veg, big roasties and fluffy Yorkshire pudding - all served piping hot! 🍖🍖🍖 (pictured) My sister had the confit duck salad as the main course 🥗🥗🥗 (pictured). Hats off to all the staff, as they were completely on top of all COVID requirements and were courteous, friendly & very helpful. It was really good to see the pub full with families supporting a local eaterie in these very difficult times for the hospitality sector.
