After a walk in the Moors we found this cozy pub on our way home. The pub is very welcoming with a great interior. The food quality was excellent and good value. Superb little traditional country pub. Dog friendly, very cosy, log fire and low ceiling kind of place, not that the fires were required. The portions were huge (I knew immediately I wasn't finishing it without a sneaky bit under the table for 🐕).

I had a rib eye steak which was really nice and the tiramisù that came with a small chocolate filled cannolo. The place is perfect for a relaxing dinner or just for a few beers!

I came here yesterday with my parents on route back to where we are staying we had a great food big portions and great service. it was abit pricey but worth it . my dish was Cajun chicken with sweet potato fries and salad 😀

Warm welcome, excellent food, very generous portions & great value. I was told the beer was very well kept but as nominated driver (again) didn't get chance to sample it.
