Really friendly landlord. Had a great chat today about the pizza ovens (I'm a geek). Always a cracking pint and very reasonably priced. Possibly the best pub in Bury Town centre! 5*!
Friendly service, clean tables and a relaxing atmosphere. They have televisions for the sport and they play music. The drink was cheap and they do an offer on pizzas. It was very much similar to a weatherspoons pizza but in a good way. There was no grease dripping off it. A very nice pub.
Nice pub. I like the majority of the Joseph Holt pubs. The manager/landlord was very friendly. Good selection of drinks reasonably priced. Comfortable seats and a disabled toilet with a door that locked unlike the Robert Peel next door. Would go again.
Great pub with a good selection of beers and spirits. Lots of tvs for sport. Friendly staff.
A decent pub with lots of big screens for all the sports. Also has a real fire which is fab. Plenty of different areas to sit and chat. Also serves really good coffee.
My friend and I went in to Wyldes last Tuesday and shared a bottle of wine which was very reasonably priced. The Barman was really nice and friendly. Our only criticism was that the disabled toilet didn't have a seat. I am disabled and walk with a stick so I wasn't able to go up stairs to the toi

Dec 2022: Having seen many changes over the years, Wyldes is still a great bar in the heart of Bury. Joseph Holt's craft ale on tap and dog friendly!
Nice pub, good atmosphere, friendly bar staff. Called in here on a night out for our grandsons 21st Birthday had a fab time.
Nice proper boozer. Terrific bar staff. Screens all over the place for racing and football. Holts pub. Would recommend.
Just a wonderful culture, chilled out and calm, and when problem individuals come in they are not able to get a rise out of staff or customers, so they're forced to give up and leave...
The staff fully will accept you as a regular if you're not problematic, and you'll never feel an outsider
Really impressed with the quality of food on offer, all cooked fresh and in front of your eyes. Only had the chicken wrap today and can honestly say it was the nicest I've ever had. The flatbreads looked amazing, and the service was excellent too.

Really lovely cosy pub. Not long left from there and fortunately for me they had a young girl singing and she was brilliant! I found a cosy seat next to a fire and enjoyed the artist.
