My husband and I got married here on Thursday, and what an amazing day it was! When we were looking for a venue over 2 years ago we fell in love with this place as soon as we saw it! We didnt want a church wedding but we wanted the place we got married to feel like a wedding venue, we didnt want it to have a hotel feel to it, and the stables (horseshoe suite) did not disappoint! Not to mention the grounds surrounding! We had many people commenting on how gorgeous the venue is, the food was delicious (especially the shortbread love hearts for dessert) and great portion sizes, the sausage and bacon butties being a big hit! Simon and Mckenzie were absolutely lovely and ensured that our day went without a hitch from start to finish! The resident DJ Rob was also a delight, very friendly, took the time out to speak to me and congratulate us, and also played excellent “cheesy pop” songs which we requested! The dancefloor was always occupied! I just want to give a big shout out to Mia, from day one of booking this venue she has been amazing, all my emails i sent she always replied, with a very friendly manner and nothing was too much to ask, she is excellent!
I would highly recommend this venue to anybody wanting to get married!
My only gripe, which is more with the bolholt than the stables was that the day after our wedding, which was good friday, there was a mix up with breakfast times! When reading the information it says that normal serving time is until 9am, except bank holidays which is 10am, which to me and all my guests that stayed over believe that good friday is a bank holiday, so when some people arrived for breakfast after 9am (having paid in advance) to be told that they had stopped serving was very frustrating, and even after many complaints made to staff a refund on the breakfast was not offered!
Fab night 1st July 2017 for my friends 50th, food was fab, staff great, however bar staff need to get their prices right, as kept getting charged different prices for same drinks all night £12.30 at one point for 2 Taboo and lemonade wow, having said that I would come back, as had a shamazing night.
We had our wedding at the stables on Saturday, everything was Absolutely amazing!! Thanks to Mia, Simon and all the other fantastic staff. The food was lovely, the room was decorated perfectly and the day ran seamlessly thanks to you all! Me and Chris can’t thank you enough!
Absolutely love this place. The management and staff are lovely to deal with. The grounds are beautiful and all the events I've attended have been extremely well run. Had the venue pie and peas recently at a WHN quiz night = gorgeous. Highly recommended; Gill at GEM
We had our wedding reception at the Stables on saturday, we had an amazing day everything was just perfect! Mia was fantastic whilst organising the wedding, anything we needed she was there and Katie and Simon were amazing on the day/evening. Again nothing was too much trouble. The room looked gorgeous, the staff worked so hard and everyone commented on how delicious the food was. Thank you so much for helping us make our day so special for us. Stefanie & Ben xx
On behalf of myself and gorgeous wife I would like to thank the staff at The Stables for their organisation and care in ensuring we had the most amazing wedding day anyone could ask for. From the start Mia was amazing in making all the arrangements and accommodating our requests. Simon was fantastic on the day making sure the day ran smoothly and was always on hand if needed. He and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly all day and into the early hours. I would highly recommend this venue. �
Myself and my husband had our wedding here on Saturday and it was the most magical day, we couldn't of been happier. The venue looked amazing, the food was delicious and the staff were so professional but friendly through the whole day. Mia and Katie thank you so much for talking is through everything and answering all my questions when I was feeling nervous, you are both amazing and really made all our day perfect. A big thank you to all at the stables country club for making all our dreams come true.
Myself and my husband got married at the Stables Country Club in the horseshoe suite on Saturday 19th August 2017. We had an amazing day and the room was beautiful. We would like to say a big thank you to Mia for helping to co-ordinate everything and also to Simon for being there on the day and supporting us. Would definitely recommend this venue.
Amazing venue, brilliant staff, the best wedding day I could of hoped for. The food was delicious, the decorations were perfect, planning before and on the day was professional and we felt completely at ease on our big day. Thank you so much for everything xx
We had our wedding here on 18th March and the whole day was amazing! From booking until the day itself, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Mia & Mackenzie were fantastic and made our day perfect, would highly recommend & can't thank them enough for everything they did to help make our day so special �
On behalf of me and my new husband, we would like to thank Mia, Simon and the rest of the team for helping us create the most perfect memories. We were married on the 7th April and everything was fabulous, it was everything we asked for. Nothing was too much for the team and our guests are continually telling us they had a brilliant day and loved the venue!

We had our wedding here last Saturday, and every aspect from booking, planning leading up to and including the day has been fantastic!! Mia was amazing in helping us plan our wedding, taking care of all the little details, and available whenever we needed any reassurance. Simon and team were also amazing, they couldn't do enough on the day to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. All the guests commented on how lovely the room looked and how welcoming the staff were, we truly believe all of the staff at the stables enabled us to have the wedding we dreamed of. We got married here on 10.06.2023. From the moment we chose the venue in July 2022 Sophie and her team have been helpful and nothing has been too much trouble, even with all the complicated dietary needs of the guests! Sophie kept us informed without being intrusive and was always available for even the smallest of questions. Kenzie as our Master of Ceremonies and her team on the day were brilliant, she knew exactly what we needed even before we did at times (notably handing me a cold glass of water when I arrived before the ceremony, very welcome on a very hot day!) and the team slipped in and served, moved tables and got things set up seamlessly without interrupting the flow of the day. The food was gorgeous and generous portions too. The venue was stunning and the perfect setting for our perfect day.
I organised a Charity Ball in the Hayloft Suite. On the month's running up to the event, Sophie from the Events Team was there to guide, advise and help me with anything I needed. The day before the event I went in to set up the room. Again Kensy and her team gave me all the help I needed, made some suggestions and plied me with coffee to keep me going. On the evening of the event, the food was superb! All the guests commented on how they enjoyed it! And the bar/waitress staff were great. All in all, brilliant service from all departments that made the event an amazing success and a lot of people (especially me!) very happy! Even when I went the next day to dismantle and collect my displays, the lovely cleaner appeared with coffee!
What more could you ask for?? Certainly be using this venue again.

Attended my Sons wedding this weekend. Found the stage to be very professional but not stuffy. They could not do enough for you or the bride and groom. The coordinator was attentive and very well organised. All round they made a great event into a better event.

My baby first birthday party was amazing
My friends and I had a fabulous time today- we used the swimming pool, jacuzzis steam and sauna rooms. Its was a great day out and very relaxing. Afterwards we had the afternoon tea which was exceptional and very good value for money too. All homemade and cooked on site- definitely recommend this- we were very well looked after by Abigail and the team. Thankyou for a wonderful time and great service!
We had our wedding here a few days ago all I can say is 10/10 Sophie couldn’t be more helpful if she tried was outstanding, very accommodating to all our needs, great communication, always got back to me, amazing place for a wedding of function, very competitive and good value !

Friendly gym and pool area. Nice atmosphere and not too busy. Pleasant helpful staff. Great showers and changing facilities.

Really enjoy coming here compared to other gyms I've used in the past. this place is brilliant it's got everything gym, swimming pools , sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool and whirlpools.staff and members all friendly

Beautiful wedding venue and stunning grounds. Beautifully decorated and structured. Although hard to find the entrance to the venue entrance to park not many signs and poorly lit.
Had a barn like feel and lovely table settings
Nice, although if you have zero equestrial knowledge you may struggle to find the toilets.
We used the Stables as the venue for our Wedding. We received excellent service throughout the build up and planning to the day itself. We used the Horseshoe suite which was ideal for our 50 day time guests for the ceremony and Wedding breakfast. We then opened it up for the evening when another 30 guest joined us. The Staff were brilliant throughout and the food quality didn't disappoint us. Very good meal followed by Bacon and Sausage butty spread in the evening. Our wedding host, Makenzie, stood out. One of our guest fell ill and she handled the situation with professionalism and care, helping us to continue to enjoy our wedding. She also followed up with us to check on our guest. Very impressed with the venue and the team. High recommend
Attended a wedding there. Staff were very attentive and friendly.
Attended funeral reception - good food, good service, pleasant well laid out room. More signs required around the outside of the building so that you can find your way in easily - especially on a cold, very wet November day.
