Small plate selection was delicious! Beef roats were equally good! Recommended
Great place looks a lot better on the inside quite a surprise. Staff nice and friendly Food was tasty Steak Baguette needed a bit more cheese was dry near the end and peppers need a bit of finesse to chunky but I enjoyed it. Gravy was a bit weak pie was nice
Very quiet when we went, think we were the only ones in there. The service was great and good food. Standard Holts' pub menu, but a much nicer atmosphere inside than some of the other Holts pubs'.
The food came piping hot and XL dessert sizes. Will return and hope it is busier on our next visit.
We visited weekday afternoon, quick service, great value and definitely would recommend the buttermilk chicken burger or the hanging kebabs

Make sure you enter your car registration on the way in at the bar to avoid a fine for parking on the car park!
Second time I've met with my friend for lunch here. The variety and choices on the menu is really good. Prices very good too. It's a lovely pub inside, friendly staff and plenty of parking. It has been quiet both times we have been in which seems a shame... but both times have been weekday lunchtimes so perhaps that's why. I think it's a fab, unpretentious place - a typical British pub/restaurant.

Food was delicious, very hard to find nice food. We didn't wait long as was a quiet Easter Sunday. Kids enjoyed their food. My daughter loved looking for the Eggs hidden around the venue. Parking was good. Everything was clean. Staff where polite and did a table check back which is a rare thing these day. All in all I would say I'd definitely return.
The staff were excellent, and food came quickly even though they were busy. The food tasted great, chips were nice and earthy๐

Nice pub friendly staff. Got to say the ANPR camera and the necessity to log your number plate makes you feel more than a little tense. Not really sure why this is needed.

Great Restaurant, very clean, staff were very friendly, professional and information, food looked lovely, hot and delicious, and a good portion. My son had Roast, my husband and I had chicken with mushrooms, vegetables, chips, we enjoyed it, it was delicious. Dessert of Hot chocolate Fudge cake cream and ice cream was delicious. Great experience and we would definitely recommend. Fabulous food, great service, and great staff.
Had a meal, it was busy but we didn't have to wait long at all. The food was absolutely beautiful, big portions, piping hot. We don't live in the area but we are already planning on coming for another meal. Brilliant.
The geordie bar tender really made the experience, great little bar for a quiet drink or meal!
Food excellent, great friendly staff, especially waitress and bar staff. They have a great sense of humour which really made our visit enjoyable. Well worth a visit. Will be back again soon.
