First time visit tonight and it won't be the last we had a wonderful experience the staff was very welcoming the service was fantastic and wow the food was divine it was very tasty, the presentation was superb, and all cooked to perfection I can honestly say the pack horse is my new favourite place wether it's just myself and my husband or to enjoy with family and friends if I could give a higher rating I definitely would.
Food and staff were very nice but the part of the building we sat in is extremely dark and dismal. It was quite depressing. They could do with it lighting better.

First time visiting and indeed very nice. Burgers are really tasty and generous portions Tower Burget is a must try. Service is very good, friendly staff and most importantly dog 🐕 friendly. Will be back :) Plus, perfect pint of Guinness
It's a lovely place with a beautiful view from the beer garden. Service was fine, friendly staff but some details weren't taken note of when making a change to a dish due to a digestive condition. I still received the ingredient mentioned on the alternative (onion) from the Philly steak so no peppers and onion (as combined) but given a salad with raw onion on top. I did sit and pick it out as I felt guilty. I mention this for those who may make similar requests.
Otherwise, everyone enjoyed their food, drink and the atmosphere.
My 1st experience of going to the Pack Horse Inn. Very nice place good views good beer & of coarse good food will be back. We was there for a baby reveal a lot of friends there & they managed very well with all the locals & my friends.. Staff very friendly thank you for a great day.
I'd never heard of this place before my sister-in-law and her partner invited my wife and I to join them. I had the steak and ale pie, as did her partner, my wife had the Drayman's Board, and her sister had the Lemon and herb chicken breast burger. All of the meals were perfectly cooked, and delicious would be an understatement. We will definitely be back, soon.
Beautiful little pub with plenty of outdoor seating. Lots of little birds flitting through the hedges next to the pub, really nice to sit in the sun here.
Service is quick and very friendly. I had the sea bass and risotto which was tasty. Typical pub food, nicely presented.
Inside the tables are well spaced and it has a cosy atmosphere
Called to have Sunday lunch we had been in last week and wanted to see if the high standard was maintained.
Everything you want from a Sunday roast was put in front of me.
Beautiful beef veg yorkshire pudding and wonderful gravy.

Great selection on the menu. Three cheese and onion pie was excellent as was the large fish and chips. Good choice is ales too.
