Food was decent - I had chicken liver pate which was nice and lamb shank, which was good but not great, I had to season it to get flavour out of the meat but the cooking of it was great. The gravy was really good. Service was a bit slow but there was 8 of us, the atmosphere was absolutely fine again
I am ceoliac, my food has to be gluten free. The chef was very helpful and went through the menu. There was plenty of choice. Food came beautifully cooked and was very tasty. Prices not too bad will go again very soon.
Lovely place to eat in the Bury area :) Homely pub grub but in a nice atmosphere :)

We celebrated a double birthday here and absolutely loved it. We had a designated area set out for us, Kieran and the staff made sure we were well looked after really gave the personal touch. The food was lovely, generous sized portions and well priced. Made me wonder why I ever left the North! I'

lovely food and friendly atmosphere, had to wait a while for our food but noticed there was only one waitress, so in all fairness to her she did amazing !! especially on such a hot day, she was really smiley too but it's an awful lot of work for one person
A small family (7) get together - we all enjoyed our late lunch. Excellent food & service. A traditional pub adjoined to a modern restaurant extension suits most visitors.
A friend and I went for a nice tea. The menu looked great and I chose the vegetarian fish and chips, which was battered halloumi with chips and mushy peas, it was all really lovely.
