We went into this independent Thai restaurant today after walking past a few times. We were not sure what to expect as from the outside it looks very low key. Thank goodness we gave it a chance! The food was the best Thai food I have ever tasted. It was authentic Thai food . You can choose to have traditional Thai dishes as mild or as hot as you like. I went for a hot green curry , I was surprised that given the extra heat, the other flavours were not compromised and still came through. The portion sizes were not scrimped on either.
The service was friendly welcoming and personal , not like your big chain service.
I plan on going back very soon.
This place is fabulous! Low-key atmosphere, service was really friendly and personal without being intrusive, and as for the food, it was all excellent, but the tamarind duck in particular has made it straight onto the "10 best things I've ever eaten in my whole life" list. Prices are reasonable -- not cheap (and indeed why should it be?) but not too expensive either. It's a really lovely little restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough.
We had the perfect evening out at Zap Thai! The food was absolutely delicious and all the staff were so warm and friendly. We were made to feel not like customers, but like we were welcome guests; offered genuine hospitality and being treated to a lovingly prepared home cooked meal - by an expert chef! The menu choice is just right, the portion sizes perfect, and the atmosphere relaxed and cosy. Everything we ate was divine! I can't wait to go back
After being fortunate enough to win a generously donated voucher in my workplace charity raffle, my recent dining experience at Zap Thai met all expectations. The moment we stepped into the restaurant, we received a warm and friendly welcome from Pom, the owner, who promptly showed us to our table. The atmosphere exuded a welcoming vibe, and the service was not only quick but also delivered with genuine friendliness. The food itself was delicious and offered generous portions. The beef panang curry was tender and flavoursome with just the right level of heat, and the mixed starters were perfect to share between two.
If you're looking out for a place to eat in Bury, Zap Thai should certainly be on your list. I can't wait to return at the earliest opportunity.
Absolutely beautiful authentic Thai food I have ever tasted! We went for lunch and had their set lunch menu which to be honest was undercharged so ordered more sides, portions where generous, the service very friendly team so welcoming. The atmosphere is calm, chilled with eye catching decor. Love their fresh green chilli plants they grown along side the windows. We had, Pad Thai, Green Curry for mains, prawn and chicken dumplings for sides, satay chicken skewers for starters. Absolutely delicious definitely coming again. Really want to try the rest of the menu ☺️.

If you love authentic Thai food, this brand-new Zab Thai in BSE is for you!! We had weeping tiger, mop-ping, 3 flavours-fish, Lime fish, drunken noodles and Papaya salad and We enjoyed it really well!! And their dessert are so good♥️ looking forward to visiting there again🌻

Stopped in for lunch yesterday with my partner, the food was amazing but our experience was elevated by the lovely lady who took the time to chat to us and teach us a few conversational phrases. My partner is Thai but no longer speaks it, so it was brill to see him have the opportunity to embrace his heritage. We will be back! :)
My wife and I had a tom yum soup, papaya salad, tamarind duck, red curry, jasmine rice and sticky rice. Every dish was delicious, the portions were generous, and the server was attentive and kind. They even tailored the heat of the dishes to our requirements!
