By far the best fish and chips in Bury! Amazing customer service and even better food. Love this place!
Best ribs in Bury St Edmunds!! Good for old-fashioned chips too. Very reasonable. I'm not a great fan of their fish or sausage but if you like ribs (and I love them) you must give this place a try. Ask for extra barbeque sauce on the ribs, as they taste delicious with more sauce. Yum!!
Great place for fish and chips! The cod portion is big and tastes fantastic, definitely great value for money. The nuggets and sausage are really good too. Highly recommend this spot if you’re hungry and looking for tasty food.
Tried West End Fish and Chips for the first time and we were happy with the pleasant service, reasonable prices, and excellent food. We were amazed with the considerable size of the large cod and battered sausage. The spring rolls and pineapple fritter were worth to try. My favorite was dipping onion rings and chips in savory curry sauce. Our daughter loved the chicken sandwich. Overall, definitely recommend West End Fish & Chips!
Wow! I am very appreciated with huge portions, crispy batter, and perfectly cooked ribs♡ Don't miss their mushy peas 😋
Fresh and lovely tasting chips
Portions on the small size for the price could learn a thing or two from a city chippy with regards to amount (Liverpool) (London)
Would recommend on taste only
No forks or napkins on show or offered
Best fish and chips for a long time. The large portions of plaice and cod were huge and delicious. Quick service, wrapped well, average price. Will definitely go again
Good service, tasty food! I’ve been wanting to try this as the reviews were great, but my favorite WAS The Codfather in the town center. This one is a top contender to the cods I’ve tried here, Lakenheath, and Mildenhall. Also ordered onion rings (very good) and scampi (a little on the salty side, which was alright, still tasty)... I recommend for others to try this place out, I’ll for sure be coming back!
Happened to be passing through this lovely town and stopped for a quick takeaway... and I'm so glad I did! The fish is fresh and the batter is delightfully light which makes it one of the best I've ever had!! Hope to be heading this way again, soon.
Friendliest chip shop in Bury. Now do curry sauce :)
I organised an event for 25 people and received superb service from West End. Quality food was provided on time, well packaged, hot and great value. Will be using them for another event and thoroughly recommend them.
Very good fish and chips. Chips a bit soggy.
The best fish and chips in Bury St Edmunds so far. Very nice service, so friendly. Love it. Highly recommended, will be back definitely.
American military ~ living local in area. Best fish in chips I ever had! Would recommend to everyone on base. 5 stars 🌟
The BEST fish and chips in the UK for me. That's a bold claim, but I've eaten fish and chips from all over the country, including from most seaside towns. It literally does not get any better.
20 years I've known the manager boy can he cook a mean piece of fish x chips always fresh freindly staff
I've been a customer for many years and I can only say good things about this establishment. In my opinion, the quality of the food is excellent and the service is great!
If you've never been before, parking can sometimes be a bit of an issue as there's no dedicated car park (only on-street residential nearby) but it doesn't bother me to any great extent.
Great fish and chip shop, food and portions are good, staff always friendly
Friendly staff and nice fish. Get there early (it opens at 430pm) to avoid the queue. Chips less successful but big portion
The food is cooked to perfection and the staff are so helpful and friendly. It's our favourite in the town for a fish n chip supper
This is the closest it gets to American, good fried fish. Grab your favorite seasonings and hot sauce and bam! The owners are so kind. Fresh fish, well battered along with great fries. Always a HIT!
