Fantastic traditional British pub on the outskirts of the town centre.
Well maintained cask ales and lagers with bar snacks available. A friendly atmosphere throughout from the main bar, back bar and courtyard garden. We had our wedding reception here and could not thank Gordon and Claire enough for
Such a wonderful, wonderful pub...terrificly friendly, great beers and also open house folk/blues sessions once a month...well worth a visit.
the food was great but they said they only have one option for us which is a bit disappointing but the food was amazing .
A proper pub with excellent beer and very friendly landlord and staff. Dogs welcome. Reasonably priced too.
Great old fashioned pub without the sawdust. Pub garden out the back which is great during those long nights. Fridays and Saturdays are best as they open longer hours. Great range of cask ales with around 5 barrels on offer all the time.

One of my favorite pubs in Bury and was always fun to drop in and looking forward to seeing what the new guy has done with the place but I’m hearing it’s been good things!
