The best bar in London!!! The staff and the owner were great! Would recommend this to anyone in the area! Thanks for the great time!!
The kings is the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night absolutely buzzing atmosphere and a great bar staff to add to the enjoyment! Perfect for sport and food! And during the week is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet pint or meal!
Banging atmosphere, banging food, banging staff, banging garden, banging pub
Birra Moretti was a fantastic alternative to Peroni - much tastier. The homemade scotch egg was to die for and the yolk was still running!
Had such a good night out! The food was delicious! Atmosphere was good, The garden was lovely and the staff were so welcoming! Will be returning soon!
Is a lot better since Liam has been in charge my only problem is it needs to be kept on top of. You can't stop improving. I myself only stopped using the pub due to terrible people using drugs on site. Thankfully its changed. I will come back slowly as local.
Totally renovated, once you walk in its totally unrecognisable which is a good thing. It's now a pleasant pub bit it's now for foodies. Very tastefully decorated. Food looks fab. Reasonably priced and good portions.
Great new menu, so much variety I love the homemade risotto
Loved the new look when we came in for the football last night, will definitely be popping back in
I’ll have a fosters please Liam x
The bartender Elliot is well fit.
Banging roast dinners awesome vibe and quick service
Looking at the reviews I think there are new staff as they were all really helpful and friendly. We went in lunch time New years eve, recieved a nice welcome as did our dog, the place was clean and nicely decorated and had a nice atmosphere. There is a huge range of beers and a nice food menu, the food took a bit longer than we would usually expect to arrive but it was clearly fresh and really tasty.
Lovely fresh vibe with really quick service of food and drink. Big range of beers/Ales, ciders wine and soft drinks. Food was excellent at such a great price!.
Dropped in for lunch today instead to try somewhere different to usual. Service was excellent, food was hot fresh and delicious and very well priced for what was received. We will definitely return and recommending to family and friends
I can't recommend any of the food as I usually go pre drinking here, and haven't tried it , but the service is always friendly and quick. Even on nights such as New Year's and clubbing nights ! A great place to catch up with friends, and there's alot of space for everyone, especially outside if you're with a big group !!
It seems older negative reviews relate to previous ownership. Service was good and food hot and tasty. Much nicer atmosphere than the chaos around The Arc.
Nice and young personnel. Very good service. I will recommend the place to sit and relax. Sport on the TV.
Kings Arms is a pub in Bury Saint Edmund. It is spacious with the possibility to choose whether to sit on chairs or sofas. Here you can drink a lot of beers and local English food, while watching premier League football matches. The staff is available and gentle.
This is what I would call a PROPER pub but with the ambience of a pub punching above its weight. The bar staff were lovely the clientele very friendly. A lovely place for a beer.
Excellent service, great atmosphere, definitely worth a visit.
Nice town centre pub, good grub, good selection of beers.
Excellent food and loved the music. Someone has very good taste.
An absolutely amazing pub. Really good home cooked food and in my opinion you will not find a better friendlier pub within Bury st Edmund's. The landlady Carol is an absolute gem. I would rate this pub 100/10 definitely the place to go if you ever stay here. Words cannot describe enough how great this place is.
Popped in for a few beers and football after dinner. Cosy well decorated pub. The evening I went in was quiet, bit didn't have to wait to be served. Myself and my friends sampled several of the beers, all very well kept and reasonably priced.
Outside smoking area is good. Covered, heated and includes a TV so we could still watch the game
Now under the same ownership as the Masons Arms, different menu though, we had a pizza which was very good. Had a good pint of Oakham Citra too, will definitely be going back.
Found this little gem last night. Really lovely place, excellent outside seating area and great atmosphere - seems to cater for all ages and types, especially on a Saturday night.
Stewart the landlord is really funny and friendly, even offered some younger folk an outlet to charge their phone.
Decent sized outdoor seating area WITH heaters (very important this time of year!) And good selection of beers and ciders on tap.
Would definitely recommend
