A hidden gem of Bury, Zen boasts a great selection of rice, noodle, and soup dishes. Excellent portion sizes and generous amount of meat in each dish. Welcoming staff and very quick service. I'd highly recommend the chicken satay; incredibly creamy, peanuty sauce with perfectly cooked chicken!
Just popped in for some appetizers for birthday.

Consistently delicious pan-asian cuisine, friendly service and at a very reasonable price. It is slightly off the beaten track, but is well worth seeking out. Highly recommended 👍🏻
Lovely spacious restaurant, friendly staff. Good is great and makes a nice change from the everyday foods. One thing I would say is I had the crispy noodles with king prawns, and roast pork which was extremely salty. Will definitely come back next time we're near.
Interesting noodle bar situated on a quiet street just off the main thorough fare of the town centre. Asian food served is tasty and good value for money. Check out the unique decor in the basement. The ambiance lives to its name. A highly recommended place for a good meal and a quiet chat.
Food was really good and big portion, unfortunately they didn’t have one of the dessert I wanted to try.
I would just advice to put some heating on:)
I’ve only had Tom Yum vermicelli soup take away and it’s really good. Excited to try more off their menu. Also, takeaway orders get a 10% discount. Wish they delivered.
Update! Discovered on Facebook group Bury Drink & Eat, delivery is offered for Zen Noodle Bar on Take Away Taxi. Niiiice.

Great place to eat! Our favourite restaurant in Bury! Hidden just off main shopping area, this little gem comes not only with huge delicious portions, but also great prices and lovely staff! I highly recommend and will be def coming back again and again! :)

Great choice of food. Only moan tables too close together. Get to hear the conversation on the table next door, whether you want to or not!

Our go to restaurant of choice for date night! Have never had a bad meal here, delicious food and prompt, friendly service is a guarantee! Couldn't recommend more highly! The rendang curries and vegetable gyoza are to die for! 🤤😋
Food was plentiful, got seated downstairs in the basement which had an interesting atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Would recommend for the Chinese and Malaysian dishes
I had a great meal but my wife wasn't sure about hers. The sweet and sour chicken tasted a little burnt.....
