Really Rather Good - Bury St. Edmunds - Photo album

Very friendly staff in a cosy and homely atmosphere. Fantastic range on the menu. Drinks were served swiftly and the food came shortly after. The chicken and bacon toastie was perfect alongside the lovely view out the front of the cafe. Plenty of seating inside and out. Would recommend for a quick l
Nice wee privately owned cafe in the center of town, with good tea, coffee and cakes, staff were really nice and friendly. The seating area is comfortable with a good relaxed atmosphere Toilets were fresh and clean with a good supply of soap and hot water. We really enjoyed our visit to this traditi
Overall good experience. I went here for a couple of hot chocolates and was pleased with the flavour, speed, and service. Since it was raining outside, we sat inside by the counter. But it was quite sticky and dirty so, on second thoughts, it would have been better to take it to go.
Stopped here on a cycle trip. Excellent sandwich, and drinks are a good choice. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful. My water bottles were refilled and they even watched my bike while I went to the toilet. Thank you all so much. It was such a tonic to be so well welcomed and tak
Lovely little cafe, welcoming staff, warm and cosy on a wet day. Only had a coffee so can't comment on the food. Dog friendly and she even got a treat.
Lovely coffee shop, with a hearty menu of classics. Staff were warm, the portions of cake were generous, and it made an excellent place to work while watching the world go by. It certainly has more character than the chain coffee shops, and I'll continue to return whenever I get the chance.
Best vegan hot chocolate with coconut milk. Beautiful views of the Abbey, bright interior, plenty of seating and plugs for laptops, and friendly staff.
Very friendly place with helpful staff. A decent sized pot of good Earl Grey, a very tasty piece of fruit cake and a good view across to the Abbeygate. Not a bad place to stop.
A cozy place to have breakfast in this small little town. Very helpful and friendly staff. Scones are delicious too. What a lovely day.
Lovely service, lovely toasties, great price and really enjoyed our chocolate cake. Will return!
Nice spot to sit outdoors. Good selection of sandwiches and good hot drinks. Good range of tasty cake. It's a bit on the small side inside, but still a great little lunch spot.
As its a small cafe, indoors seating area would not be applicable for pushchair/ buggies/wheelchair so if the weather is good then there's option to sit outside. It does however holds a friendly yet chic vibe. Price is reasonable to a point, & the food was lovely with there's plenty to choose from O
There really are a Lot of coffee shops in Bury St Edmund's, people must be addicted to the stuff to keep them all in business and I confess than when visiting my family there I have tried a few. This one tops my list. The position is excellent over looking the Angel Hill and they have an excellent
Stopped for tea and a scone. The cheese scones are delicious! Lovely seating area outside with views across to the cathedral and gardens, and to watch the world go by. Order inside, and it will be brought to your table.
Really lovely atmosphere to the place. Overlooks the Abbey Gate way. I noticed a sign that said gluten free. Was pleased to see I had a few options for food. Had gf toasties and it was delicious. Very helpful staff.
