Incredible place with planty activities for kids of all ages throughout the whole year. Sandpit and Easter, Halloween hunts are my kids favourite.

There are loads of positives about Gordale. The fuel is the cheapest around (bar Costco, but it is still close). The staff are just fabulous and so helpful. The goods on offer are quality and will help to lift your home and/or garden. Yes, there are expensive items here, but they are competitive and will often offer free delivery. The cafe is very nice too, although I do think the layout could do with a reconsider. Overall, I love it!!!

Lots of plants and unusual items for the house and garden, that you may not find anywhere else. Gordales Christmas displays and range are excellent and very popular. Items seem to have a premium cost compared to other garden centres and plant suppliers. There's also a nice cafe, but again, it's quite expensive.

I called into Gordale after a long and wet walk around Thursaston. We were looking for eats and a coffee. The lady on the welcome desk was friendly and helpful, pointing us in the direction of the cafe. The homemade scones near the entrance to the cafe looked good. And I am delighted to report that the scones were delicious. They tasted v fresh and were obviously made with good quality ingredients. While a scone is not a headline item, making basics like this taste excellent is a skill and I appreciate the kitchen care and effort this takes. Thank you for a very pleasant visit and a great taste experience.

Established in 1948, Gordale is one of the oldest garden centres in Britain. Gordale is Wirral's award-winning garden centre, showcasing an extensive range of products both for your garden and home. A great place to find beautiful gifts and homeware, seasonal clothing, fashionable garden furniture and Weber BBQs, and of course indoor and outdoor plants. The staff are knowledgable and friendly. There's a large car park and even a fuel station too

There is something for everyone with deep pockets here. A nice shopping experience if you are prepared to pay more than you should for their wares The highlight of our visit was seeing the geese and goslings in the grounds, along with squirrels and mallards. Plenty of parking and an in house cafe for a range of light bites etc.

This is a great place to visit whether to browse or buy. Play area for toddlers and lovely cafe with plenty of choice. It's very disabled friendly with plenty of wide aisles and ramps although the small area upstairs is not accessible for those with mobility issues. The staff are very knowledgeable about all plants and if they don't know, are happy to find someone who does. Definitely worth a visit

My Wife booked me on the Weber BBQ course here which I attended last Sunday. Very welcomed by Gordale staff on arrival and even given a new apron to use for the course and keep. The BBQ course is basically, learning a 3 course meal on a BBQ which was an amazing experience led by Tarrant Ablett who was such a great Teacher. It was interactive so we all got to prepare different elements, cook and taste everything from Black Bean Nachos to Bourbon Summer Berry Crostana (yes, dessert on a BBQ). I learned so much I didn't know on BBQ cooking and preparing dressings & sauces too. Tarrant also gave us the recipes on pdf and all the BBQ cooking instructions so we can practice at home. All the staff (Especially Gaynor) were first class and so helpful and even bought my first Weber BBQ at Gordale on the day which I am looking forward to using now I have more knowledge. This course is well worth the money and you don't need be any expert on the BBQ at all as its for any novice or expert alike as we all learned something we could take away from the course. The whole group enjoyed the course and a well done to Gordale for putting this on as it was real value for money. Thank you.

Right on the A540 with a large well ordered car park with well positioned disabled spaces. Enter through a really pleasant shopping area, with attached cafeteria. The outside eating area is really pleasant. Unfortunately we didn't get to experience the outside plant area but it looked really well stocked. All in all a great stopping off place and a great all round shopping and garden supplier.
