“Jewell” Wes an angel! We came in after a dirty Thursday rather loud and she took my order with patiently! And and such a beautiful smile!! Amazing customer service from this manger!
The timing was a little too long at 26 minutes but we did order everything plain and it was hot!
Best McDonald’s in Derbyshire in my opinion always up to standards and never cold and sloppy!
Had the chicken big Mac and it was delicious. But could be improved by having the middle bun not be soggy. Good place to go to keep warm in the winter

This McDonald's is conveniently located inside a services style area, easily accessible off the A38 Junction to Burton. The McDonald's car park is small, however it is easily augmented by the retail park in front of it.
Inside, the inviting atmosphere guides you to the Order Terminals and the Kiosk. The terminals were a bit hard to use and looked a bit roughed up, however they ordered our meal perfectly. We also used the kiosk to order pudding via a member of staff.
The food was cooked hot and fresh and tasted delicious. We had no complaints and brilliant table service. Bright room with open views of the area.
Overall, our visit to this establishment was one of the best McDonald's I have had in a long time...
Went with my mum last Friday and we were amazed with the incredible customer service from Ruth. She made a good maccies visit very memorable. Thank you Ruth
Tried this McDonald’s while in the area for a quick bite to eat! Easy access to it as it’s just off the island on the main road! Staff were friendly and helpful and asked if I needed sauce or napkins which I thought was decent! Food was very hot and fresh and well presented so in all was a decent McDonald’s to use! Would come back again while in the area 👍🏼
Good McDonald's. Good is good and the restaurant clean. The car park is often busy but I have always found a place to park take care not to use the car park for the other shops as there are signs up so you could be fined as a non-customer.
Not bad at all. Most the time the food is as you would expect. Service can be slow but it's not the end of the world.

very happy with service food always good sometimes kids tablets broken but we always camming back, must also really highlight job of the lady named Ruth ( if i read her name correctly ) she usually work arround tables. Food always very good. Went at lunch time and it was mad busy, and crowded in the restaurant. We were going to use the drive thru but it was queueing into the road almost to the roundabout. Parked in the neighbouring carpark for Currys and walked in instead.
Food was really tasty but amazingly thankful for the friendly service of Ruth. Made our day! Thank you Ruth

The management of this place is absolutely brilliant and a prime example of excellent customer service. Last week I ordered through drive-thru and it wasn't until I got home when I realised that my order was missing one thing. I phoned McDonalds to report that my order is incomplete and that I am on my way to pick up what's missing. When I arrived I have been greeted by the manager, I explained the situation and to my surprise, I received not only the missing part of my original order but another extra meal and free deserts on top of that. I wish all take aways could demonstrate such professional and customer focused approach. Well done McDonald's 👏
