Had the pleasure of a few pints at this wonderful Pub just last night.
If you're staying at Barton Marina it's a great place to go if you want something more authentic than the glossier, more expensive establishments that surround the Marina area.

Now under new ownership so I thought I’d pop in for a pint today. Nice, friendly atmosphere - new landlord and landlady are really welcoming. Sampled their real ales - you can tell they take good care of the pumps, and the real log fire was a bonus 😊 Would recommend 👍🏻
What a lovely traditional old pub, in a great position and a lovely pub dog who loves a fuss. Sheila the landlady retires soon and I bet she’ll be sorely missed!

Great little pub. Good ales and space fir around 6 or 7 trucks to park outside. No food here but you can order food in and eat inside. All over well worth a visit

Great 'real' pub. Well kept ales including Wainwright and Pedigree. Landlady Sheila is great, friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful Marston's Pedigree in a great traditional pub with open fire in winter months. Run by a marvellous host Sheila. Don't miss calling in when you pass by.
Lovely proper pub with a fabulous land lady who has quick wit and a brilliant sense of humour. Oh the beer ain’t bad either.

A proper pub we go after work on Fridays, bar staff always friendly and polite would definitely recommend here.

Nice pub alongside a canal on a sunny day. Inside is pleasant bar & the luxury of a log fire a drinkers pub & no food.
