Had the pleasure of a few pints at this wonderful Pub just last night.
If you're staying at Barton Marina it's a great place to go if you want something more authentic than the glossier, more expensive establishments that surround the Marina area.
Great pub, great atmosphere and a warm welcome from the Landlady.
Good for kids, too, as mine were loving the Games on offer.
Really hope the new Management team can keep this up.
Would definitely recommend.
Now under new ownership so I thought I’d pop in for a pint today. Nice, friendly atmosphere - new landlord and landlady are really welcoming. Sampled their real ales - you can tell they take good care of the pumps, and the real log fire was a bonus 😊 Would recommend 👍🏻
What a lovely traditional old pub, in a great position and a lovely pub dog who loves a fuss. Sheila the landlady retires soon and I bet she’ll be sorely missed!
