Always friendly, and great with my son's food allergies - happy to adapt food where they can to cater for him. Soya milk option for drinks too. Lovely food & good coffee - worth a visit!

Hi I came in yesterday with my sister my daughter and her newborn baby, this was her first time out and about. I just want to say thank you to a lovely member of staff who really made her feel at ease wheb she was breastfeeding. She was talking to us and telling us about her experiences as a mother and it made my sister feel really comfortable. Top service :)

Took the dog for a walk around the washlands this morning (Saturday, June) then stopped off for a drink and some breakfast. Plenty of seating indoors and out (and bowls of water for dogs) We sat on a bench just a little way off to the left in the shade. Orders were easily and quickly placed (10.30am, so still a bit quiet) Drinks were sent out first, and we were asked if we would like a table moved to where we were sitting, which was very nice (we said no, but appreciated the offer). Our breakfast bits (smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel, bacon sandwich, and toast for the dog) were then sent out in takeaway packaging, which was again appreciated. The food was lovely - generous amount of bacon in the sandwich (choice of white or granary bread), toast (choice of white or granary) was nicely done, with 4 pats of butter (2 per slice of bread) and the smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel was gorgeous- loads of nicely cooked egg and a good amount of smoked salmon, on a lightly toasted, buttered bagel. We drank Earl Grey tea (from a pot, in a cup and saucer) and a flat white coffee (good and strong and hot). Lotus biscuits were supplied with the drinks, which the dog also enjoyed!

A lovely little cafe situated inside Burton library. Has plenty of indoor seating, plus seating outside overlooking the Washlands. Very helpful and polite staff. Drink sizes are good for the prices charged. Would highly recommend anyone visiting the library to drop in for a cuppa

Best coffee I've had in Burton. Good range on menu and reasonably priced. A favourite with children. Edit: recently changed hands, haven't eaten here since new owners took over so can't comment on it currently

Dropped in for a snack and had some fantastic food (and service!). Toasted CLUB sandwich is superb along with a proper coffee - and home made cakes too!!! And the nice surprise of a wedding taking place too!! Thank you.
