We have just had the most amazing 4 hours at the Half Hogs Head Tour. Our Tour Guide (Nikki I think) was so knowledgeable and passionate about the industry and particularly Burton and its Brewing History, it was most enjoyable. Finishing in a private room which was set with food to accompany the various beers we could try. Plenty of food and beer! And great company with other folks on the tour. Would most definitely recommend to individuals for themselves or a great gift! Will be going back with a party of friends for sure. Well run and lovely staff & volunteers. Thank you everyone.

Had my wedding ceremony and reception at this fantastic venue and the day could not have gone any better. The staff, food, and drinks were great. The recommended photographers and DJ were superb too.

This was a great day out, lots of interesting facts including finding out who owned the Bass Brewer "Coors" did not know that. Lots of different vehicles and how many train lives were in Burton. A lovely place to spend the day, I highly recommend this place.

Lovely venue and the Foo Fighters GB were awesome. Just a little annoyed that while we were away from our table, dancing, our drinks were taken away. It was obvious that we were still around as a bag and jacket were still on the table. Your staff need to be trained better. Otherwise, it was a pleasent evening.

Been here a couple of times recently. Staff are lovely and friendly. Service was quick. Drinks arrived straight away. The food was fantastic both times. The lasagne was amazing! Definitely will go back again soon

Visited early October 2022 & I suspect will shut with the National Brewery Site at the end of this month!! It will be a massive loss if this is the case as the cask beers from the Heritage Brewing Company which I know is shutting are superb! The food menu is reasonably priced and the pie of the day was really tasty. History in the form of signs & information are everywhere & it's a series of great spaces to sit & saviour the brewing experience. However to close & make the staff redundant as I believe is hanging over the whole of this site is so depressing & judging by the amount of other empty buildings around a real waste of a great bar & museum. Try and enjoy before the closure! part of

A pub restaurant venue, next to the National Brewery centre, which is adjacent, both are sadly closing at the end of October. This is a terrible blow to the preservation of brewing heritage in Burton on Trent. Pay a visit while you can.

Lovely place for a drink or meal after visiting the National Brewery Centre, or at any other time. Welcoming and friendly staff/volunteers. Really enjoyed their own Masterpiece ale!

Had some good memories shared here at the (Brewery Tap) shame it's having to close. Coops have some explaining to the locals, who've made British Pubs the Hub of many Local Lives. Shame Money takes preference to History for Coors owners.

Nice, proper old style bar feel. Food was good with generous portions. Bit spolit by being rather chilly (the room not the food!) and the loos were freezing. Lovely friendly girl on the bar.

Wonderful setting, fantastic Sunday Carvery... By far the best in the area, and at an extremely reasonable price, i could easily visit every week! Keep up the great work.

Great place, good ale and ambience very friendly staff, I was there for a wedding reception but it's steeped in history and a brewery tour would be great

48 retired Tesco workers descended on the brewery museum & had a very interesting and enjoyable guided tour , which culminated in FREE BEER. It is a well organised and professional setup. The cask ales were very refreshing....

Museum was good and staff friendly. The pub was quite but it was in the week. The food was good with a good selection. Bit disappointed as there was no bass on sale in shop. Will go again.

Came here for my stag due, great place lovely beers and couldn't fault the staff. Felt bad for the barman who spilt 2beers of our beers on his way to our table but recovered and didn't spill the other 4. If in area again would visit
