Just got home from the most fantastic afternoon at The Winery. Sunday lunch for 22 of us was exceptional. The service was great and can't recommend this place highly enough!

Celebrated my parents Ruby wedding last night, the staff looked after us very well, there was 33 of us and we were all nicely fed and supplied with drinks. The food was lovely, everyone was pleased and had a fabulous night. Thank you. Been here a few times and it’s always been lovely.

A very pleasant surprise. I stumbled across The Winery by accident - and was very impressed. The lunch I had was absolutely delicious (I had the sea bass and my friend had one of the vegetarian dishes). The service was very friendly and efficient, and we just loved the look and feel of the place. We will definitely be back!
Wow - what a place - fantastic. Wow what a place - we have now eaten here several times and it has always been fantastic, great food and value for money. Excellent service, lovely surroundings and great choice of wines by the glass.

Good first time visit. I went to the winery to dine a couple of weeks ago, previous to this I had only been in for drinks. I really like what they have done with the place it is almost modern and old fashioned at the same time, in an extremely old building i think they have pulled this off quite well and what a lovely setting especially in the summer to be sat out by the river in the sun with a glass of rose. I went at lunch time with a couple of the girls it was a tuesday lunch time and to be honest we were one of only a few tables in there it was really quiet indeed, we ordered and the food didnt take long to arrive, I had the deluxe burger whilst my friends had Salmon, sun blushed tomato and chive fishcake it was really good apart from i asked for my burger medium and it came out well done. My only complaint was that we were sat there along time in a quiet restaurant and the service was really slow, it took along time for our plates to be cleared and along time to get coffee but saying that I will visit again.

They had a separate vegetarian and vegan menu, with plenty of dishes to choose from, all courses. The vegan Mushroom Wellington and Soup of the house tasted great!
They also had a vegan drinks menu, which is quite nice.
Prices could be a bit higher than most places.
Absolutely stunning place. Beautiful location and building, everything fabulously furnished and appointed and spotless. Service extremely friendly and approachable albeit a bit forgetful. Very nice people. Food was tasty but lacked real finesse. All the fish on the seafood trio were overcooked. Kids menu is great with a fair bit of choice. Cocktail menu is excellent with a good wine choice too. Would love to come back on a summer's day and sit in the beautiful garden.

I haven't been to the Winery in 11yrs but visited on Saturday with my mum and Cousin from London. The service was brilliant and the food was probably some of the best food I have tasted. My mum had the steak, my cousin the Lamb and I had the Steak burger. There is a good choice of food on the menu for everyone, including Vegan options. The restaurant was clean and tidy with a comfortable amount of people dining. The staff were really well informed when it came to the food and drinks menu. We also sampled the cocktail menu and we all said how fresh they tasted. It certainly is a place to impress. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
Beautiful setting and building. Would be good to see a selection of the locally brewed and excellent real ale to match their wonderful wines. Burton is, after all, the brewing capital of the country. A great draw for many to the area. Just a thought, even though you're usp is 🍷
Great food well presented, nice atmosphere
Wonderful cocktails and food today for a celebratory birthday lunch. I used to work at the Winery 40 years ago when it was the Abbey, so many memories came flooding back in an instant.
Wow, had lunch there with some friends what a great experience. The serive and food (their fish dish) was amaxing. Thlocation and seetings in this old monastery dating back to the 13th century added to the experience. Well done to the staff.
Nice hidden gem - lovely venue with a fabulous garden with plenty of seating. Food is ok, lots of choice and not to pricey.

One way system in place that works really well. You have plenty of space between each tables due to the size and layout of the place so it's a relaxing worry free environment.

Really good service, any time I needed a drink staff appeared. Staff were really friendly and we'll presented.

Really nice but some of the staff are a bit on the rude side. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. Great selection of wines, as one would expect!
This is a lovely place! Can't really fault it. The food was lovely, not too much choice this allows for a better quality of food but there is definitely something for everyone. All the staff were friendly and service was very quick. For such a nice experience it was a very fair price. Will definitely be going again!
